Hotel Dharohar Varanasi — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Surprisingly enough, Dharohar hotel in Varanasi has guest rooms without window. It has interior tinted glazed that mocked to appear like window. So no view out! no opening!. The otherside is their restauraunt, so you can hear people's conversation. We requested to change the room but these type of rooms with no windows, are only available now. Don't come stay here. Tour operators don't use this hotel otherwise you will have very unhappy guests. To put your valuable guests in closet /storage type space without real windows opening for outside air, are not acceptable." It's fundamentally wrong.!!! "The Roots holidays tours, our tour operator also did not check. I doubt it that this is the only hotel available as they claimed. It is out of New year, Christmas or any mad rush public holiday season, also on week days. Both need to be shoot for providing these type of rooms for guests without prior warning. Would you enjoy your own living space in a storage/all closed up wall? It's beyound human living standard. It's not far from being in prison. What a punishment experience. I can accept it if I am awared and only need a place to crash better than lying on the floor at the airport. But this is our Buddhist pilgrimish holiday. We organized a head of time. We have all plan laid out. We do not need to be put in this type of emergency/ punishment...

I have booked the hotel and paid advance through Agoda ..I was coming from other place and when my mother and sister with her son reached there hotel Dharohar said they don’t have any booking even though before starting the trip I had confirmed it and they had assured me on email that your booking is confirmed,Agoda people said hotel must have got higher price offline and gave rooms to other people..but that’s not the ethical way right.I don’t know whether these are hotel people or Agoda ..they gave me assurance that booking is confirmed..my mother and sister reached there hotel staff said that they don’t have any booking..you can imagine travelling from different city and how pathetic it was for 2 ladies to search hotel . I have not received my refund yet .Very pathetic experience.. for hotel Dharohar they have mentioned false routes actually hotel is totally in the outer...

I stayed at Dharohar Palace for my brother’s wedding and was truly impressed by the quality of the rooms and food. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and impeccably clean. The food served at the wedding was delicious, offering a variety of dishes and cuisines to suit different tastes. The hotel also featured a beautiful garden, adding to its charm and elegance.

However, one area that could be improved is the service provided by some of the male staff members. At times, they appeared unprofessional and inattentive, not handling guest requests or complaints with the expected level of courtesy.

Despite this, my overall experience at Hotel Dharohar was wonderful. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Varanasi. It is a perfect venue for weddings and events, seamlessly blending tradition with modern comforts. I would rate my experience 4...
