Hotel Madhava Naimisharanya — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

I booked this hotel through tours & travels ~march end 2024, by believing online reviews & photos. It's a shocker as we stepped in. Firstly it's NOT a Hotel but a Dharmshala with dirt every corner, very old building. The guy who is seen in pandit attire in pics is the one who receives guests & without delaying a moment, instantly asks for rs.1500+ for satyanarayan vrat, directly enters inside the room & sits on the cot!! the most disgusting person.

Completely money minded looting people by making cash with false room photos of dharmshala as luxurious Hotel rooms.

For local trip, he went on to say, our car will not be allowed, only his car will be allowed & he quoted rs.1600 with guide.As we wanted to get rid off his nuisance from sitting on cot, paid for satyanarayan vrat around rs. 1500. We immediately checked out after our local trip in our own car. Avoid this so called hotel, don't get deceived., it's a dharmshala, all photos & reviews are deceiving which are paid I guess.

The washrooms are stinky, thrash bins God knows when they last cleaned, rooms better not to say, except the cot which...

I had a terrible experience with Hotel Madhava. I booked and paid online, but on arrival they refused to give me a room. A person named Sachin Shastri told me the amount I paid was “not valid” and asked me to cancel and pay him directly. When I asked for a GST bill, he refused.

During the stay, the problems only got worse. I was charged extra for an AC room, but the AC didn’t work. They gave me a cooler instead, which was broken and leaking. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. When I complained, the owner refused to change the room. The toilet was dirty, the room smelled damp, and overall hygiene was very poor.

Other guests at the hotel were also facing similar issues and openly arguing with the owner about his negligence. The property is listed as a 3-star hotel, but in reality, it doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

This hotel is completely unprofessional, unhygienic, and misleading. They harass guests and don’t even provide proper bills. Avoid this hotel...

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Earthworms were everywhere — in the bathrooms and around the hotel. You have to request them every time to turn on the geyser, the AC doesn’t work, and dust covers the rooms, beds, windows, and pretty much every surface. The place is poorly maintained, and they don’t even provide water bottles.

On top of that, the stay was overpriced. Even their so-called “premier rooms” aren’t worth spending more than ₹1000. There’s no elevator, and there’s barely any staff, so you’ll have to carry your luggage yourself, whether your room is on the first or second floor.

The Satyanarayan Vrath experience wasn’t great either. They rushed through the rituals, and I’d recommend having it done at a proper temple where they’ll conduct it with more care and respect.

Don’t be fooled by the ratings; they are most likely fake.
