Hotel SM Palace — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

I was here to attend a family function where I had allocated Room No 310 as I checked in with family my wife and sister along with grown up kid I was surprised to see that washroom curtain used by hotel had full inside visibility, members who had bath inside was felt ashamed when they got to know, As soon I complain to the hotel about this Mr Shankar had connected the call to the owner of the hotel (Mr Sandeep) who had no regret accepting this by saying is a fault of our architect ||||When I told that it’s a violation of privacy and I must lodge a complaint he shamefully told Do whatever you want to do||||Over and above indeed we called up housekeeping more than 5 times to rectify the AC issue he was helpless resolving this 2 hours, we had been offered 4 rooms out of 3 rooms had same issue but hotel couldn’t rectify||||Room shower don’t offer hot water though the Tap as it is on demand (being a 3 star categorised hotel) but nothing was mentioned||||No clarity between shower gel and shampoo as nothing mentioned in the container||||Snacks got served go over in an hour and hotel forcefully placed dinner at 8 PM though dinner been told by 10 PM, it seems they were trying wind up the event quickly without our wish||||Food was cold there was no system to kept this warm||||In totally it’s a pure unprofessional, unhygienic, Pathetic service stand and privacy compromised hotel ||||Keep away from this hotel while making any reservation of rooms or doing any social event as your guest will never be satisfied with there responses...

All reviews are fake. Terrible Experience - Do Not Recommend!

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. The service was absolutely atrocious. Here are some of the key issues I encountered:

Water Service: It took over 2 hours just to get a bottle of water. This is completely unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting.

Food Service: The food took an agonizing 40 minutes to be served. By the time it arrived, it was cold and unappetizing.

Staff Competence: The staff clearly lacked proper training. They did not know how to serve guests properly, which added to the overall frustration of my stay.

Lack of Toiletries: The room had no toiletries whatsoever. I had to request them multiple times, and they were never provided.

Pressure for Positive Reviews: To top it all off, someone from the hotel came to my room and directly asked me to give a good review. This felt highly unprofessional and coercive.

Air Conditioning Issues: The AC in my room was not working, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the hall had dysfunctional AC units that switched off during an event, making it unbearable.

Overall, my stay was a nightmare. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and find a place that actually values its guests and provides...

I recently got a chance to stop over and stay at Hotel SM palace. Before booking the rooms, I did a quick check on Google Reviews and initially thought they were over-hyped and it felt too good to be true. On reaching the Hotel however, things fell into perspective and I knew all the reviews were genuinely true.

SM Palace is built at the most convenient place possible for travelers. It is away from the city hustles and has a peaceful surrounding. The rooms are super clean and have all facilities on finger tips. They have ample parking space inside the premises. If you have prior booking, the rooms will be ready before arrival and they take all care to make you feel comfortable right from the time you step in. Food quantity is overwhelming, though the presentation requires a bit more work. They have a great restaurant to comfortably fit a mass of people. The staff is great and will be at your service anytime you call.

Overall a great experience staying there twice. Special thanks to Lalit ji for making the stay fabulous and comfortable.
