Checked into Mango Tree Resorts today, and honestly, it has been a disappointment from the start. For the price paid, I expected a better experience, but everything from the food to the facilities fell short.

Starting with the buffet breakfast, it was limited and full of extra spices, but without real flavor. The dinner buffet wasn’t much better—just average and lacking variety. Room service has been painfully slow as well; it took nearly 20 minutes to get just two water bottles, and only after I had to call again for a reminder.

One of the worst parts has been the condition of the recreation area. The table tennis balls and pool balls were either broken or so soft they couldn’t be used, and when I asked for a replacement, I was told it would take two days. The table tennis bats were broken, and the badminton court was in shambles, with a broken pole and a torn net. Even basic things like getting a badminton racket and shuttlecock took ages. When I approached the reception to address these issues, the response was disappointing—just vague promises to fix things or suggestions to play something else like carrom.

Adding to the frustration, there are frequent electricity outages, which although short-lived, are a hassle and certainly not what I’ve experienced elsewhere, even in remote places.

Lastly, to top it all off, I requested a simple non-veg snack for dinner, and while they initially agreed, they later refused and said I’d need to pay extra for it. This attitude from the staff was truly upsetting—there seems to be a serious lack of hospitality and customer care here.

If you’re considering staying here, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Mango Tree Resorts may have potential, but without addressing these basic issues, it’s not worth the price...
