Adventure Bear Buddies — Hotel in Uttarakhand

This campsite is located about 30 mins ahead of rishikesh. Please try to reach here before sundown as one needs to do about a km of offroading on rocks to reach this place. Driving on that terrain at night time could be dangerous. Built along a small stream, this property offers a great view and a mediocre swimming pool but that’s about it. They have about 5-6 camps and 3 rooms. The camps were below par to be honest. I’ve stayed in far better camps in Rishikesh. They didnt have hot water facility either. They play music for about 3-4 hours in the evening. You gotta take your own entertainment ( 🍺) here as the place doesnt really offer a lot. The food was decent but felt a bit pricey.

The only reason that I might visit this campsite once again was the hospitality extended by the manager/owner, Mr. Gupta. Amazing host. Excellent professionalism.

Other than that, I dont really have a reason to recommend...

The price they charge is for a 3 star hotel. But the quality of the room is less than 1 star. Room so small, cement flooring , bathroom doesn't have shower, no toiletries provided. Caretaker had his own attitude. There is very small pool.

There is no road to reach these camps. You need to drive on the river bed on the pebble stretch for almost 500-700m. Seen a lot of vehicles getting puncher here. The path is not marked so it will be very difficult to reach here at night. Network is also very weak here so locating this place...

It was an off-beat location. Will take half an hour to reach from Rishikesh. I will highly recommended to reach there before sunset given the terrain and location of the camp, as I reached only after it was dark. Service is amazing, people are very courteous. Food is also nice. To make the most of it I will recommend give a complete day at the camp. Also remember it's a camp so please keep your expectation of amenities according to a camp and you will...
