Homestay is situated in a beautiful location, you should be able to see mountain ranges in front of your room on a clear day. We went there in summer and weather was pleasant to go outside on hikes and walks. Host family is polite down-to-earth folks and goes extra mile to make you comfortable. Mohan bhaiya cooked tasty local dishes from vegetables in their farms and adjusted as per our taste. We were invited to their family home nearby and saw their home grown vegetable farm. The homestay is situated 1.5 km inside on a dirt road from Dhaulachina market. Drive carefully to reach the homestay, it will be bumpy ride but safe if you drive with patience. They didn't have wifi but if you carry Jio/Airtel, you should be connected. If you are looking to experience Binsar wild sanctuary, this homestay is far from there but it has enough exploration points around it. Wheelchair accessible. Google Maps is inaccurate. Once you reach dhaulachina market, don’t take the right which google suggests, instead go ahead 20m more and you will notice homestay...
Read moreBinsar View Home Stay exceeded all our expectations! We initially booked a three-night stay in April but were so captivated by the serene atmosphere and the exceptional hospitality of Mahinder ji and Naveen ji that we extended our visit to five days. This secluded haven, located 1.5 km from the main road, offers a peaceful escape from the typical tourist crowds.
While it has the warmth of a homestay, it is actually a well-appointed hotel. The spacious rooms are spotless, thoughtfully designed, and boast breathtaking views of the Himalayas. A large lawn provides the perfect spot for relaxation in the sun. The food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. For those interested, a short trek to Vimalkot Shakti Peeth Mandir is easily accessible.
The only sounds you'll hear are the soothing calls of birds and the wind rustling through the pine trees. If tranquility is what you seek, this is the place. Don't let the unpaved 1.5 km road deter you – it is easily drivable and ensures a peaceful,...
Read moreI recently stayed at Binsar View Homestay and would rate the overall experience as good. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for nature lovers looking to disconnect. However, reaching the place is a major challenge—you’ll need to drive on a completely off-road stretch. From the longer route, it’s about 2 km of rough terrain, and the shortcut is 5.5 km of extremely difficult off-roading. Sedans are not recommended. Only go if you have an SUV and are comfortable with rough hill driving.
Rooms are basic but fine for a short stay. Don’t expect luxury—bring your own towel, dental kit, and toiletries. The food is quite good, which was a big plus.
In summary, it’s a nice getaway spot if you’re well-prepared and driving the right vehicle. Not ideal for families or those expecting quick access or...
