During our recent trip to Rishikesh, we stayed at Blue Heaven Camp, which offered a mix of experiences. The camp's location provides picturesque mountain views, creating a serene backdrop for relaxation. The on-site swimming pool, filled with fresh water, was a refreshing retreat after a day of exploration. The staff was notably supportive and accommodating, enhancing our overall experience. Additionally, the camp's budget-friendly pricing makes it an attractive option for travelers, particularly bachelors seeking adventure.​

However, there were aspects that could be improved. The food served was average and left room for enhancement in terms of variety and flavor. While the camp offers various activities which involves crossing a rope bridge at a significant height. While these activities add to the thrill, the absence of safety equipment is concerning; for instance, a fall from the rope course could necessitate emergency medical attention. The final 300 meters of the approach road are quite risky for cars, though this is somewhat understandable given the hilly terrain.

Additionally, it’s important to note that as per my personal point of view Blue Heaven Camp may not be ideal for families or couples seeking a peaceful or secure environment. During our stay, I observed that many of the guests, mostly young groups, were openly consuming alcohol around the premises, including near the rope bridge activity areas. Some were even engaging in risky adventure activities while under the influence, which could be dangerous for themselves and unsettling for others. While this behavior largely depends on the individuals visiting and not directly on the camp’s management, it still affects the overall vibe and may not suit those looking for a quieter or more family-friendly experience. Due to these factors, especially the safety concerns and the overall environment, the camp may not be the best choice for families with children.

After a day of excitement, guests can look forward to a delicious and satisfying meal. The food is a major highlight, prepared with care to provide the perfect fuel for your adventures. The campsite's location is conveniently close to the Shivpuri market, just 2-3 KM away, yet far enough to feel completely immersed in nature. While the road leading to the camp has some rough patches, including holes and solid rocks, it is fully accessible for a wide range of vehicles, from cars to 12-wheelers.
