I recently stayed at Blue Magpie Homestay in Mukhteshwar, and it was amazing! The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and I spent a lot of time just soaking it all in. The rooms were spacious and super clean, with a cozy wooden house vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. And the food—wow! Everything was so fresh and delicious, made with organic veggies right from their own farms. Speaking of farms, visiting their plum, peach, and pear farms was a real treat. A rarity of luxury in the hills these days- Sanju ji’s wonderful homestay gives you the comfort of a home away from home. Easy access to the road, views of the Himalayas, fresh home grown and home cooked food and a very hospitable family! The homestay is located to close 45 mins-1 hour away Mukteshwar amidst a forested area that is being mostly protected and in tact. An ideal place when you need to reboot in the silence and embrace of nature. Cozy atmosphere and rooms. Sanjay and his family are very hospitable. The children really enjoyed it, especially picking Huge cones in the forest, berries in the garden, lemons and fresh mint. Be sure to ask about the garden and vegetable garden tour.
