Buransh Homestay — Hotel in Uttarakhand

I visited this place last week during my trek to dodital. On the first day of my stay, I haven't felt it's like a cottage or home stay . I have felt like it's my second home. I arrived there late in the night, and no one was their except one old lady. My daughter called her dadi. She treated us as a family and my daughter as her own grandchildren. In three days of my stay, I have enjoyed their hospitality and culture. I will never forget their Palak ke sabji and rajma chwal. Rajiv bhai is very helpful and like my own brother.The whole family is very sweet and helpful.This camp site place is magical. Surrounded by snowcapped mountains and fields, early morning and evening views are beautiful. Please visit this place to enjoy Pahadi culture and calmness of nature. The place is not at all maintained. The quilts are torn. I came to know later that the owner does not stay there often and hence the poor condition. The host is greedy and will charge you for even hot water for bathing. After reaching there, we enquired with the other homestays to find that we are already being overcharged. We stayed in Agoda for a good 10 days. The toilet is not attached and you need to go outside in freezing weather and its scary at night. The host has no sense of privacy and constantly keeps an eye on where you go and where you eat. We ate at a neighboring house and this didn't go down well with the host. ||We spent a night and shifted to another homestay, which annoyed the host and he expressed his annoyance to the new host as well as us for leaving the homestay. The stay at Buransh Homestay was awesome. We reached at night from Uttarkashi and Rajeev received us personally. Rooms are small and good with attached washroom and Heating facilities. We attempted to trek to dodital next day but was not successful due to heavy snow. Next day we trekked to nearby Bugyal to enjoy snowfall. The experience was amazing and memorable.
