I got married here. Best decision ever. While looking for places to get married, we talked to a lot of resorts in Uttarakhand and HP. The problem is, that the moment you say you are going for a ‘destination wedding’, people quote prices that are way too high. Even if we are okay with the price, there are always the hidden costs. We wanted transparency, not just with the finances but with other aspects too. When you go for a destination wedding, you rely on the resort/hotel to arrange everything since you are out of your city/comfort zone. That’s why transparency was everything to us. I am glad Camp Brook, Rishikesh was on our list. We called Ankit Gupta. Discussed finances, food, location, rooms, facilities, etc. It took us just 3 calls to finalise this location for our big day. Ankit was transparent, to the point, and precise. He sounded like he knows his stuff… and he surely does. Food was on point… so I am glad my relatives, who otherwise complain, were satisfied :) The best part is, the Camp Brook staff was so helpful. A few of our guests were old, who couldn’t walk to the dining area for meals. The staff made sure to bring the food to them. Plus, though all the meals are covered and served at respective times, it's not that they won’t give you tea or snacks in between the meals. Camp Brook felt like home.
Not everything goes as per plan on your wedding day because there is so much happening. But, Camp Brook staff was always there to help us with even the minutest things. If they say something will be done, it will be done quickly.
Rooms were good and spacious. All the guests were comfortable. There is ample parking space in the camp. Swimming pool is a cherry on top. Food (veg and non-veg) was really good. Staff is always ready to help. Ankit Gupta is the person you can bank on.
We had fun at Camp Brook. And that’s...
Read moreCamp Brook wow what an incredible memory you bestowed upon us as we embarked upond our own heart opening journeys in a Shamanic Spiritual Immersion Retreat. Nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh it was definitely a delightful abode to support our rejuvenation of the mind, the body, and soul. With the sacred Ganges flowing through the heart of its back door the tranquility of the setting is breathtaking to its core. Ankit and his team exceeded our expectations at every turn providing us with the best guides, the best drivers, and attention to detail and planning of each moment enhancing what was an already fantastic trip. Looking to unwind and disconnect from the hectic schedules and stressful daily life, then take a break to acknowledge, accept, and honour that you deserve your own deepest compassion and love and why not do it at CampBrook. Pranjal, Deepak,Anul, Mr Mukesh and team work tremendously hard 24/7 to ensure that your stay is supreme. I can honestly say the standout feature was the incredible staff they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. They all go above and beyond to make sure their guests needs are provided for and they all operate from a place of kindness and generosity. Delicious meals were provided 3 times daily all cooked fresh with organic produce. Morning and afternoon tea with a delicious masala chai tea that we could not resist. I arrived as a guest and left as family rather than a friend such an amazing experience thank you. I highly recommend this to anybody who is open for something different in life. Thank you to the...
Read moreAbsolutely in love with the Camp Brook
Any words fall short for how mesmerizing it is to wake up to the sounds of nature and some yummy breakfast to kick-start the day. Camp brook's staff is always there to help you in any form and makes sure you feel at home. They have both, cottages and camps to choose from with private washrooms for each option. Along with a clean swimming pool, prettiest flowers planted around your cottage/camp, safe parking space, they also have table tennis, pool table, badminton court, cricket pitch, volleyball ground, and other indoor games to choose from. They provide you all the meals along with morning and evening snacks and tea. In fact, in the evening they provide snacks twice. Once with tea and then again with a bonfire, where you can also enjoy music under the stars. There is also a river flowing behind the camps which is very safe to visit and sit for a while to enjoy nature. We woke up to the sound of peacocks cooking near this river.
Camp brook's breakfast, lunch and dinner are all very delicious. They provide a small but really scrumptious buffet. The food is so yummy, just like our home made food. However the only thing we didn't like was the taste of certain evening snacks. But that doesn't lessen our experience and we will still go back to the place for how amazing our stay was.
I have tried to be as honest as i could with my review. Hoping my experience remains the same or gets better with my next visit here.
Note: Kudos to the entire staff and specially their...
