CAMP KURIA Nainital — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Worst place i have ever visited. When going to Nainital a week ago dated 27th May2023, our traveller was stopped 5 to 6 km ahead of Nanital because it was full packed and we met there people bragging about this place and showed us some good pics of the camp and we decided to go there. We were around 10 to 11 people and the total fee charged for 1 night stay was around 13k for 2 rooms and 1 tent and 5k was taken in advance. When we reached the place showed in picture and the place in reality was far different. There was no proper hospitality and no professionalism by the hotel staff. The accomodation & rooms they allotted to us were 3rd class with no proper pillows, bedsheet, blankets, no proper cleaning of rooms and even the toilet commode was not fitted properly. We also experienced unruly behaviour by the hotel owners son and his staff who don't even know how to talk to a female. The dinner(ok-ok) was served after 11pm which i don't think is a correct time to eat. After reading some of the reviews by other people i got to know that if someone gives negative rating to this camp the owner will reply that this is a fake review and they never visited here, so i request anyone planning to stay here plz think twice or thrice before staying here. It was my 1st ride to nainital via bike and i chose this place so i can get an experience of camping and boy-o-boy it was perfect and if i can i would give them 10 star instead of 5, me and my friends reached there at 6 pm it was partially dark but so couldn't see the beauty of the place at 1st glance , sunrise at 7 am was so beautiful i couldn't take my eyes off it, i was just embracing the beauty of the sun rays on the mountains. That was about camp location (Top Notch). Now about the staff and the service, it was just delightful, every member of the staff was so nice, helpful, respectful, selfless, kind i cant find more words for them. If you need anything at 3 or 4 am they were ready to help. Best thing was food over there (MASTER CHEF HARISH JI) as im a delhite i love chicken, in the camp we ordered 3 dishes, chicken, alloo gobhi and shahi paneer, so i launched myself on chicken i was in love with that, then i tried paneer i was like what is going on how much tasty can a paneer be but when i tried alloo gobhi i reached nirvana, i never tasted a dish like that, it was simply the best thing i have ever eaten. i think its your time to experience this...

I visited last week, October 24-25, 2020. Loved the food - very much hygienic and qualitatively tasteful. Living - Tents and attached bathrooms are well maintained, a double bed, a drawer and a table are provided in each of those tents. This camp is really staff friendly, one of the guy (Harish Ji - The partner) took me to various places at night, when I expressed my only urge to see Nainital lake at night. DJ and Bonfires are common to every campings, the differentiating features can be found in above 3 points.

Note : I visited when there was no crowd at all, there were only 4 of us in the entire camp, staff service may vary depending on the season, but I don't feel that food taste will vary because the cook will remain the same.
