Camp O Royale | Resort In Dhanaulti — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Overall the place is beautiful and has a nice view, has a mix of a shaped hearts, rock cottage and basic tents. No towels are provided, upon request when we received some towels, they had all the threads coming out on our face. They were a lot of power outages and hence it's good to keep the phone on battery saver. I really liked the food here, all the breakfast lunch and dinner spreads had good number of dishes however the breakfast did not have options which satisfied everybody's liking. One day it was aloo puri and the other day it was paratha. For dinner they also served one chicken dish and a dessert along with other vegetarian options. I really love the pakoras served during evening tea. Coming to the tents, the basic tents had no geyser, they did not provide any hot water and It felt really cold in those tents. The beds were shaky and hence not comfortable to sleep on. The rock cottage and A shaped cottage still feel better due to blockage of any wind or extreme cold, however there was water blockage in the bathroom which ruined the experience. Cleanliness was questionable as there was dust over all the surfaces in the room. Coming to the service, the boys there were really cooperative they carried the luggage and they also took our special requests to bring us sugarless tea or any other item wherever we required. The DJ area is nice, the bonfire starts roughly at 7:00 p.m. every evening and the boys bring more chairs as needed. Also they have good lighting and provide water to the guests. On both the days of my stay, there were two sets of bonfires. They also obliged when certain guests requested to play musical chairs by altering the music. Writing a review makes me relive all the good memories attached to this place. I could write about all the usual things this place caters, from good food to great hospitality. But one thing which stands out is the heavenly experience. The moment you leave the chaos of city, you’d want an escape to a place which could unwind it all. Stepping into this beautiful hill side opens up another dimension of experience. The isolated view of the serenity brings you at peace. The sound of non polluted nature speeds down the life for a while and makes you love actuality of your being. Gazing them stars in the clear sky, sitting by the aesthetically designed wooden cottages, you always feel like capturing the never forgettable moments. One thing I’d surely never wish to miss is the sunrise, where you could easily notice the initial rays of sunlight spreading across later. Spending time here has always been one of the better experiences I’m glad I did not miss. There are few things which words don’t justify, and this I one such isolated hill side where you actually prefer to keep your stress...

The camp is located between dhanaulti- chamba, there is a road slightly at left while going from dhanaulty to chamba. the down road is not good, but was enough to drive my sedan car till camp. its on lambdhar road after apple orchard resort. they also have enough parking space. we took whole package which included welcome drink (juice), tea with biscuit, bonfire & DJ with 2 snacks, buffet dinner, morning tea - biscuit, buffet breakfast, unlimited adventure activities. washroom was clean and attached within tents, they provided hot water in morning for bath, had led bulbs in tents and washroom, some tents also had socket for mobile charging (otherwise you can charge in dining area), the signal in mobile was low at some points at the site, but was enough to make calls & whatsapp. we got valley facing room which was “ sone par suhaga”. also the staff was too friendly and helping.
