De Floresta Resort - Corbett — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Not very great experience. Room was shabby, stinky (At least not worth the price)

Went here with family in Feb-22 for a night stay but to meet a vast gap in expectation. Not one, but number of flaws were there which added to not a very good experience (being honest, i wont say experience was extremely bad)

Pros: Food was delicious. If you are adventure lover, then access road to this property is happening one. Quite inside the jungle, remote location

Cons: Luckliy I’m adventure lover, but not all are like me. Reaching this property required to cross a water river in your own car. With family, for the person who will be doing this for the first time can be tricky. Irony is that at river bank you will have no network to call property so no other option - you have to dare and do it. My suggestion is - it should be pre informed by property while booking so that may sound like a biggest con for some. Second biggest con is that those stinky smells of dampness (fungus) will not leave you alone during your stay inside the rooms. (May be it was in my room only, not sure of other rooms) Side table of bed is broken. Photo shown. Though it hardly matters for visitor, but it shows the level of upkeep of property. Ones expectations also grow in that tune w.r.t. purchased deal, I wont say it was cheap buy for me. Not telling the price i paid, for being a genuine visitir to them Few Curtains were very dirty at bottom. Photo shown. Kinda fungus was there. Curtain needed washing but instead it got reluctance from housekeeping. When we arrived, noticed dirty and torn bedsheet spready by housekeeping in our room to ensure our warm welcome. Power socket was hanging loose. Photo shown. House keeping never bothered as they might have some more priorities over ensuring safety of visitors and their kids in family. Amen. Every where dampness marks on wall were pointing fingers towards poor upkeep of rooms, atleast for my room. Wash room’s Water jet was also leaking, which we got fixed calling house keeping. Thing is it should be done already. Visitor are to spend holidays, not to notice such things and get them fixed.

To sum up, all points might be small but as i siad earlier that (number one)these things reduce the level of expectations from holiday stay and (number two) eliminate the chance of reference selling/recommendation which usually happens from one visitor to another. A visitor is not just a person out on holidays, a good property staff can turn that visitor to a virtual sales person also as he gona recommend it to number of person in his close contacts for future references, if things go...

This resort is very inside of Kyari range of Jim Corbett area. And the last 3 km of road condition is like off roading. There are lots of interesting and positive thing which will attract at this resort but there are also some negative things which I will suggest you to find another resort in this price range. ... If you are reading my review so don't skip it and and read my experience how was it and what is a bad thing which I faced at resort. . Pros... The location of this resort is fully violin is where the completely natural place and you can enjoy your peaceful life time memory here. This resort is not so big but the location and beauty is attractive which is like you are living in your own farm house. The working staff are very supportive and genuine. And especially the food quality is awesome you will not seen any kind of issue in the services of breakfast lunch and dinner although they can also serve as per your demand what kind of dishes you want they can also prepare it if the stuff will be available. Swimming pool is also in good condition where you can enjoy your peaceful time.

...... Cons... The motorable condition of the road towards this resort is not so good so you may be feel some trouble during to reach the resort. Price of this resort is ok type, as per overall services, so you can also find another resort in the same range, Then price is not fix..so you should bargains as much as you can. . Humne Jab resort book kiya tha kab ham already 6 log travel kar rahe the aur inko inform kiya tha ki ham 6 log hain aur us hisab se aap price bataen Magar Jab price final Ho Gaya Aur 2 din vahan stay karne ke bad Jab ham checkout kar rahe the tab unhone kaha ki "aap ki baat Keval 5 person ke liye Hui thi Magar ab 6 log Hain to Ek person ka charge extra lagega" ise sunke hamen to pahle bahut gussa aaya.. ki ham agar 6 log aa rahe hain to 5 logon ki booking kyon karvayenge itna to common sense aap logon ke pass hona chahie Magar yah Apne baat per tik Gaya aur 5 ke hisab Se Hi paise jod rahe the aur ek person ka extra charge mang rahe isliye hamen unko pay karna pad Gaya.... ... So aapko advice hai ki Jab bhi aap booking karen to record krke rkhen, chahemessage ke through yah phone call per bhi recorded rakh le taki booking ke time price aur number of person ka record raha hai takia bad mein inko dikha sake nahin to pahle yah kam price mein aap ko bula lenge aur bad mein yah se panga karke aap se apne charges vasool lete hain. inki yah strategy hoti hai isliye booking ke time har chij record karke rakhen chahe voice record ho...
