EUPHORIC RIVER RESORT — Hotel in Uttarakhand

I did not had the best impression of the place and my experience was more bad than good at this property.

There were several my friends and I faced at Euphoric River Resort: • Electricity issues: While occasional power problems are understandable, the management’s handling of them was very poor. • Cleanliness concerns: On arrival, we had to call the management to have the place cleaned, which should have been taken care of beforehand, e.g. there were insects and bed bugs on the bed, in some rooms the floors were dirty, ACs and geysers weren’t working in many of the rooms, etc. • Unprofessional conduct: After the power went off at night while we were sitting together, the manager came and told us we should have gone to sleep 30 minutes earlier since they wanted to switch off the dining area lights. At midnight, they turned off the electricity without our consent and left. • Water supply issues: There was no water in the taps or toilets throughout the night. Despite repeated requests, the management responded only after a delay.

The only saving grace of this property is that it is located by a stream which is very scenic...

Absolutely the worst experience ever. The property is in pathetic condition. Rooms are filthy, steel beds are broken, bathroom locks don’t work, and toilet seats are either broken or completely missing — making hygiene and privacy a nightmare.

The kitchen and dining area are infested with cockroaches and flies, making it impossible to eat there safely. To top it off, cows freely roam around the garden area, adding to the chaos and lack of cleanliness.

They demand full payment in advance and refuse any refund even if your booking is cancelled before check-in.

The staff is highly unprofessional. Dev and Aditi are part of a scam — they repeatedly call, pressuring you to make additional payments online, threatening that your booking will be cancelled if you don’t comply.

Euphoric - Not recommend and Hotel cannot be trusted at all. They can cancel the booking any time/ last times and leaving tourist alone to search in last moment. I was driving the vehicle , and 1 hour away from hotel. Hotel called and told me to pay the advance , we told them we are just 1 hours away. Hotel team simply told check mail in rude language if you will not pay. it will cancel automatically . and I was driving the vehicle . when we were 15 min away from hotel.
