Himalayan Stay Lodges — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Had a very bad experience at this resort, as we travelled on a busy weekend because the price is too high for staying there. Not worth according to property.

Service - 0 like if you are looking for taste, no taste, no idea how to cook professionally.

If you ordering food, you have to wait aprx 2 hours.

If you order there at the standard time of lunch and dinner then also they will provide you lunch at 3:00 PM not at 1:00PM

If you are getting disturbed by other tent people noise, they can't do anything to stop them or lower to noise.

Menu Price is too high for any food.

No proper born fire.

Washroom too bad, No exhaust. Without proper drain, you will feel the swimming pool inside.,,,

No toiletries

Lots of bugs and insect

No extra fan

No extra blanket

Dirty Water

When asked why you don't provide toiletries and all so saying tourists damage the toiletries and others so we stopped providing.

The only Good Point about this property is the view, you can enjoy the view only if they provide good service otherwise you have to be on your own for good food...

I had the pleasure of staying at Himalayan Stay Lodges for two days, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warmth and professionalism made me feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was providing local tips or ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. The food was a highlight of the trip! The menu was diverse, and the quality was consistently outstanding across all meals. The lodge itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The serene Himalayan backdrop only added to the magic of the stay. I gave even 1 star only because I had to write a review, otherwise this place doesn’t even deserve that. We had booked this place to celebrate a birthday, but the moment we entered the room and saw the condition, we immediately decided to leave. The rooms were extremely unhygienic, full of insects, bugs, and spiders. Forget about sleeping, you can’t even sit comfortably in such conditions. On top of that, the hotel is located around 800 meters inside from the main road, with a very poor access road. When we arrived, there was no electricity, which is a basic necessity. They later started the generator but charged an extra ₹500 for it. And at the end, they even said they would reduce ₹100 from the bill if we wrote them a positive review, which is completely unacceptable and unethical. Honestly, it’s better to sleep in your car or in a tent than staying here. It’s far better to pay a little more and stay somewhere clean...
