Hotel Aananda — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Hotel Ananda is the worst worst worst restaurant that I have ever visited I'll give a detailed review on every point. Staff 2 ☆ I have given 1 extra star because of staff which is working under the owner otherwise the owner is very rude... I also have a video in which the brother of the owner Storms into our room and argues over the bed sheet, he says the bed sheet is fine, i also have a video of 3 minutes about that. The staff is relatively young and inexperienced and they were just locals.. Cleanliness 1☆ When we came into the hotel that is I mean the room, the bedsheet had black spots on them even after asking them to remove the bed sheet they didn't do it until the next 2 days even after complaining they said that they didn't have any extra bed sheet and the laundry will come the next day,so we had to to sleep without the bed sheet, by the way they didn't change bed sheet for the next 2 days as well, until we decided to cut our trip short and and leave one day before scheduled leave. The hotel runs parallel to an open drainage which attracts lot of mosquitoes and there is garbage littering all over the hotel I mean the main gate, and the parking everywhere the garbages littered, I'll upload photos if Google allows me to... Food 1 ☆ The food is one of the worst things the hotel has, we had ordered to aloo jeera and one dal fry with rice and roti the Allu was literally as hard as a rock it it was uncooked but they changed promptly after we ask them to although the replacement Allu was also not that great only slightly bit better cooked than the previous one the tea was also not that great it tasted bitter as if the tea leaves were overcooked... We had to specifically call the head chef and teach him how to make tea that is my dad told him how to make tea and after that he made it and gave it to us... Parking Parking is only ample for three to four vehicles if you if you decide to keep the vehicle in front of the main gate otherwise only 3 vehicles can fit in and the hotel is very deep inside the galli, so you will find it difficult to traverse through the small lanes to get to the hotel we have to actually physically walk through the lanes to find out where exactly the hotel was and then after that we went back and then we got our car, the lanes our smaller, especially if you have a big car like creta or safari.. Overall 1 ☆ I would say a big no no to the hotel for anyone, it would be better if you stayed in lodge, although one thing i liked was the wifi, the wifi was fast enough and even in our corner room it was giving 3 bars... One more thing I forgot to mention is that air conditioning does not seem to cool even at 16 degree Celsius, we had two rooms, and both had the same problem... U know it seems like, i have an ill agenda against the hotel, but u know it was really that bad, i have clicked many photos to corroborate with my review, i would have uploaded, if google allowed me to... Although der is one point of concern, all online reviews of this place speak very highly of this hotel, and i can seem to find similar names doing reviews on different sites, and the content is very much similar, it seems a little...

The hotel is located around 3 Kms from the famous Harki Pauri. U don't need to go a lot off from the main highway to reach the place.||We reached the hotel and found it was under renovation. The rooms offered to us were on the third floor. The room were not yet ready to completeness. The room were of normal size with a LCD TV (We got the one with CRT :-( ). The bathrooms were good. Basic essentials like trash bins were missing. ||The breakfast provided was average. and the service was too slow could have been better.||The parking is very small and can accommodate a maximum of 4 or 5 cars.||The hotel had lot of noise during the day due to renovations.||The Super Deluxe rooms were a better choice then the Deluxe ones and offered a better view but wash...
