Hotel Drona Palace — Hotel in Uttarakhand

I was put up here because another hotel had all its rooms full. I stayed here only for a night in Jan 2023. There was a noisy party going on, at the ground floor hall. So I asked for a room away from the noise. Still this hotel checked me into a room on second floor where I could hear the noise aloud. The hotel did the following cheap tricks: they turned off the electricity of the bathroom lighting, charging points and feigned ignorance; got to know that they turn off from outside the room. It was a cold night and they gave a room heater on-demand, cut off its electricity remotely after half an hour. In the morning when I had to check out, the elevator was switched off; same cheap trick. The food was OK and the room looked ill-maintained. I will not...

Hotel's location is highly dependable on situation. If you are for official.kr visit person, it js good location. But for other purposes, road connectivity is a issue to travel. Rooms are average, and service as well. You need to ask them to get everything (but you will get it). Food cost is so high comparatively.

Nice, new and fresh property! Reinvented and renovated according to the modern standards of hospitality and cuisines. Staff and people around looks really helpful and proximity from the main city and being on the main road makes it a nice option to try out. Being someone from tourism sector, Drona Palace fills quite a lot of my tick boxes....
