HOTEL HEAVEN — Hotel in Uttarakhand

This is not exactly the kind of place I would ever stay in but it’s better than whatever’s around this place. A rest house by the temple samiti is next door which is super basic and doesn’t even have hot water facility. The owner of Hotel Heaven also operates the restaurant and sweet shop next door and the hot samosas are a treat in the chilly winter. The view from the room is quite good with one of the Ganga streams flowing by the night mountains.. If you reach a little later than 7.30-8pm then there’s decent parking space in front of the hotel and I’d suggest you leave before 9 am to avoid the chaotic traffic jam right in front of the hotel. Rooms are basic and the lights in the bathroom are very dim but can do with. Hot water is available through a. It offers decent rated rooms with hot geyser which is a relief for families. We found triple bedroom for Rs 1500 in May yatra start with barely10 hours contact on phone on inquiring from Sonprayag and sending online payment. has inbuilt restaurant serving decent Thali at Rs 100. Place is in middle of main Chamoli market with taxi stand, medical stores, general and fruit stores all around.Decent budget hotel to break a night in Char Dham. The manager/owner was attentive and gave personal attention when approached with a complaint. We thought the Geaser was non functional only thing was it needed to be kept on an hour to get real hot water. manageable overall when needing tor est just one night on a long tiring tour and family needs some sleep, decent food, tea and hot water. This is what passes for amenities on a Char Dham Budget...

Our stay in Heaven was absolutely wonderful , sweet staff at the heaven where we stayed. They were more than friendly and made you feel like they were sharing their home with you. ||this is best place to stay because it is the centre of badrinath & chopta/Kedarnath .||i would recommend you people to stay once at heaven in Chamoli, somehow due to season of chardham i didn't got deluxe room but semi deluxe are also good and the best part is their Rooms are quite clean .||||Best hotel in hills area i have ever came across in terms of value...
