Hotel Himalayan View — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Hotel Himaliyan view is not recommended in any aspect if you do not want to spoil your vacation. There are a lot of issues , listing Down a few - Water supply in washrooms is the top issue.Imagine as a guest you yourself are running around at midnight to stat the water motor as you had a natural call and when you raise this to owner of the property , you get this reply " sir this man who is standing near me has booked a hotel for one person but had travelled here with other 5 men so all water is gone" . I had stayed three days and with 2 rooms booked , so each day I had faced the water supply issue. Last night at 4 Am I had to go to washroom but to no surprise there was no water in washroom. Just think what will you do in this situation. Some guests were forced to carry water in buckets from ground floor staff washroom to their room. Non availability of reception staff from 10 Pm to 6 Am .. i had to checkout at 5 Am due to health issue while I came down to process themain gates were locked and there was no staff there , i called to owner but no answer. Finall after a lot of efforts the staff who was enjoying good sleep in one of the guest rooms which was vacat tha time came and started blaining to disturb their sleep and said you had to inform in advance if you are going to check out. 3.Rooms are shown very hygenic and attractive in photographs on website and charged as delux rooms but believe me they are like hostel rooms.Not worth to heigher than Rs 1500 per night . Washrooms had no locking system from inside and room doors a doors are noisy. 4.No service for cleaning washrooms and mopping the rooms. Towles not changed, water jugs not refilled, dustbins not cleaned, same staff cook the food and also seen brooming the rooms. Parking space is limited to to 6 to 7 cars only , on weekends if you are late then need to park here and there as all slots are full. The photographs of property and roms are missleading and fabricated to sow luxury to fool the clients and the travel website do not validate them so don't trust them. And finally the property owner had only a mindset to roll the ball on the other guests who had stayed earlier for any issue if you try to contact her. She will just try to pass the time as one had already paid the amount , who is outsider with the family . She can go in argument with you if you try to bring any discomfort in front of her . There are hundreds of other properties around which are 1000 times better than hotel himalyan view Lansdowne so don't spoil your vacation and waste your money by booking in this third...

It is the worst hotel in Lansdowne. We have booked 3 Mountain View rooms with breakfast for 2 nights from Agoda. First of all room interior pics are different from pics available on their website. I think pics on their website were edited or may be old pics. Zero maintenance in all areas of this hotel .. very unhygienic. After 9 hrs. of bike travel from Delhi, we reached Himalayan View at 11:40 pm. As per the hotel staff room was ready but when we entered in room we were shocked. Room was very dirty. They said they changed the bedsheet but it was in a very bad condition. When I remove the blanket from the bed we found many hairs stands and spots on the bedsheets. The floor and carpets of the rooms were not cleaned dust visible of table and almirahs. No toiletries available. No Towels. No drinking Water Bottles. No Wifi connection. The intercom was also not working. When we called the lady owner of this hotel to tell her about the room's conditions she said "Maine khud room ready karwaya hai. Mai personally ap ko call krke hamare hotel ka rout ebata rahi hu... blah blah" SHE IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER. She didn't want to accept their faults. How did we spend our one night there we know ... The next day early morning at 7:00 we want to go for a walk but when we went to the hotel entrance door it was locked and there is no attendee or any guard. when we told this to owner she was giving a very stupid reason for locking doors that Koi chor agaya ya kisi ka murder ho gaya to kaun responsible hoga. then I told her itna bada hotel khola hai aapne to apke pass kya night guard bhi nahi hai.. After a lot of struggle, we have to check out from this worst Hotel Himalayan View. When we returned to our home next day we received a call from that lady she said " ki aapne aisa review kyu diya agoda pe humne aapko same room diya we said we have all pictures with us .... but she didn't agree and accept their faults. for almost 25 minutes she argued with us in last she said ki "Itne paise mein to itna he milta hai" it was surprising. we paid 18000 to Agoda for three rooms and she said itne paise me itna hi milta hai ... so...

I and my wife stayed there for two nights in a weekend in June 2022. We paid Rs 9000 for two nights with breakfast & taxes being the weekend which we understood while booking it.||||When we reached the hotel in the late afternoon (location wise it is great) we found a decent space to park our car in front of the hotel. So our first impression was good but it was a nightmare when we entered the hotel. We were met by a person who was not even at the reception and came on our call was literally wearing a dirty vest. After the checkin, when we stepped further inside the hotel we witnessed dirty towels and linens lying on the floor all along the restaurant/corridor and the worst part was the lift when we got into, we were accompanied with again the dirty linens and towels which were smelling like hell as few check-outs were done and they were cleaning the rooms on every floor. Finally we were given with a room on the 3rd floor with mountain view (for which we obviously paid for). Now what to share about the rooms, the walls were dirty with feet marks near to the bed, cushions were dirty, furnitures specially the cupboards were so dusty as if it were not being cleaned for years. Oh my, the toilets - dirty and unhygienic. Soap stands were not cleaned from years _ I can't even explain - have shared the picture, and the toilet pot was so so pathetic like public toilets.
