I recently stayed at Lord Shiva Hotel during my trip to Yamunotri, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. Located conveniently in Barkot, this newly opened hotel offers clean, comfortable accommodations ideal for pilgrims and tourists alike.

The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and neatly furnished, providing a perfect place to relax after a long day of travel and darshan. Since it’s a new property, everything — from the bedding to the washrooms — felt fresh and hygienic.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. They made sure we had a comfortable stay and even helped us arrange local transportation to Yamunotri. The food served at the hotel was simple, homely, and delicious, which felt perfect for the setting.
