Hotel Rajshree — Hotel in Uttarakhand

We paid for AC deluxe room which had no working AC. We complained multiple times but it was not fixed. The room and washroom was extremely dirty and smelling badly.Not even clean bedsheets and blanket was given. We had to ask and then it was changed.We had to ask to get the room cleaned and then it was done, even the cleaning was not proper, the tiles of the bathroom were not cleaned at all and it was smelling constantly. I had to personally clean it to make it bearable enough for my mother to take a bath.These things should be taken care by the management and the owner .We have gone there for pilgrimage, not teach them how to run a hotel. We had extended for 1 day. The charge for their 1 day(1594/-) was more than online(1394/-). The rooms are not even worth 500/-. On the day of checkout when complained again ,they mentioned that they asked me to change the room because of AC but it was never asked and never told that the AC will not work. Instead of understanding their shortcomings they started to put it on me that I should have changed the room and call more about the problems. A day before I had checked the other rooms that were vacant and they had the same smelly dirty washrooms and rooms. I have travelled to a lot of states but this was by far the worst experience. This place is overpriced with the worst rooms and service. Dharmshala is better than this Hotel. If you do not have any option to book in Tanakpur and this hotel is available, please do not book it and opt for Dharamshala as they are cleaner and...
