Into The Wild Stays — Hotel in Uttarakhand

WORST PLACE, WORST EXPERIENCE. We booked the cottage for 3 days, but even staying here for a day was a challenge. Owner did all fake promises from the start.

COTTAGE EXPERIENCE We were asked to checkin around 10:30 AM. We reached the place at around 10:45 AM. We were made to wait uptill 1:00 PM before we could check in.

INTERNET EXPERIENCE We wanted to have fluent internet, owner promised that it is perfect. Trust me if you are on a workation, this place is not for you. Internet connection was really pathetic as we struggled all day.

FOOD SERVICE Extremely slow service, atleast place your order 2 hours in advance. They will take their own sweet time to even give you even simplest of things like a "tea".

HOTEL SERVICE Owner came to us that there is a mistake in the booking, and we will have to manage in some other hotel on the second day, room that owner was offering in lieu of the cottage was way cheaper without any view. Actually what happened was, owner wanted to mint more money from other guests who arrived way after us. He promised them our room for the next day and was asking us to move. Also we booked bonfire since mornig itself, owner said no to us in the evening, he told us that there is shortage of wood, and that it will be difficult to manage. Minutes later he was setting up a bonfire for these new guests.

P.S. Trust me this place is for you only if you want to pay their exuberant prices for such crappy hospitality...

This is perhaps the most aesthetically-designed accommodation in Dhanaulti. Good thing it is slightly away from the main market and it’s hustle bustle. The views from the property are incredibly beautiful. The common room is nicely designed, paintings of those 90s cartoons to make you feel connected if you are a 90s kid. The property was undergoing some renovations I guess when I stayed. The room I got at 1200 INR was bit small and congested. It was a basic room with a bed, a table and chair. I guess a small almirah to put luggage and stuff should be there. Plus, washroom towel is a basic amenities which the hotel management should focus on. The washroom flush was broken which was a nuisance. Door mate at the washroom is also a basic thing which was missing. The property has a great potential to rectify and bridge all these gap as it is being run by someone who takes great pride in offering a wonderful. I have gone through some old reviews and people have enjoyed their stays. So, it’s my humble request to the hotel owner to bring some actionable changes. I couldn’t meet them as I had left in the morning. Only the helper...

This hotel doesn't deserve a single star pathetic food with pathetic people and the owner I don't know first of all he is owner or just a boy who handle the hotel he is so rude...he think he owns the uttrakhand. If you are getting paid for room then you need to polite be and giving services people like and feel comfortable. You guys are not doing any social services first of all ...u r taking money and then you providing rooms to stay...stop being rude on people unnecessary and who says it's budget friendly in this budget you will find a better rooms with better view with good services...we will not recommend any one of our friends or family members to stay their. If you are opening a hotel so be gentle with people ...no need to show unnecessary attitude we are not servants we are your guest.
