JFR Dolmaar Resort Nanital — Hotel in Uttarakhand

We stayed in Dolmaar Resort which is situated about 10 km from Kathgodam for a night while going to Bhimtaal.|It is very easy to locate as it is on the main highway. There is a small car parking and they helped us park the car.The view of the hills and valleys is wonderful.If you want to stay away from the noise and rush of the city and have your own vehicle to commute,then can stay here.|The staff is very sweet and friendly.|We had the big room facing the hills and the swimming pool.It was clean with fresh blankets and sheets.Electric kettle and water was provided .They were quick to refill the tea and coffee supplies.The washroom was clean.They told us that as their geysers were not working so gave us electric rod for heating water.|The room service was super prompt.Delicious breakfast that we ordered of stuffed parathas, coldcoffee and tea was served in the room within 10 mins as we had to leave early in the morning so diid not avail of the buffet.|Lovely roses were growing.Lots of birds singing could be heard all around.View of sun peeping through the hills was nice.It was nearing full moon so we sat on the swings and enjoyed the night view of the sky.|There is a badminton court and an open air swimming pool too but lots of leaves had fallen on it.| Only thing I would like to say as it is in forest area some black insects were in washroom and if something could be done about it.|The name of the Resort should be more prominently displayed in bright colors as we thought it was Dolmaar restaurant as that was the first board we saw.We stopped went inside to inquire and found it was the right place!!|Otherwise a nice place set in scenic surroundings. Sub: very bad experience with Cleartrip & Dolmaar Resort. ||A) Very badly maintained.||B) No Power Backup||C) Wrong Information available on website (Actually its around 25 Km far away from Nainital)||D) After paying of 1000 Rs. per day just for the AC (But still AC is switched off from outside)||E) Very bad behavior by the manager/head of that hotel.||F) So many insects & scorpion is in room (We have killed 2 scorpion's & save our family)||G) So many dust & waste in pool.||H) Dirty washrooms.||I) Slow food serving in rooms.||J) So many insects is in Restaurant.||K) We have paid for extra bedding but bedding is not possible because scorpion's is there.||||Overall its our bad experience OR bad time to stay there and we not request cleartrip or tripadvisor in future.||||If not believe; Advise you to stay there as guest & analyse everything.||||Thanks for...

We had booked this place for 24-Jan-2021 to 25-Jan-2021. We found that property was not in state for stay, It was having following issues||||a. Missing basic cleaning, sanitization, even phenyl not available for cleaning.||b. Smell in rooms and bathroom, As hotel not having basic items for cleaning. ||c. There was no proper light on pathways, stairs.||d. Open area with full dirty places. It was like property was nonfunctional from long time, and no cleaning done before taking booking. ||e. Nonfunctional pool, Like a dustbin (filled with dirt, and garbage.) ||f. Dirt on room gate, room wall paint completely damaged.||g.
