ROOMS:- OK,having attached bathroom,Geyser( in working condition),sofa, VIEWS:- Great views of the Hills and surroundings of the beautiful Ransi village can be obtained from the Terrace ( 1st Floor) We have played cricket on the terrace with Sikha and Dibangshu(daughter and son of Prabal Bhai) and attained the flash back of our child hood. Great hospitality and the behaviour of all the family member of the Host are so humble and co operative that you never feel away from home. Arjun and his elder sister is always trying their level best to satisfy their guest. The starting point of the Trek Route at Agtolidhar was damaged and washed away due to land slide. As a result a new temporari route has been created by the Authority which is dejerous in all respect. Arjun guided us the first 200 meter to access the original Trek path. We have stayed two more days ( on 25th and 26th May) with them.
We have visited on 20th May the great Rakeshwari Temple to have permission and blessings from Ma Rakeshwari before satarting Madamafeshwar Trek on 21st May morning.
We recommend all to select this lodge without any second thinking.

I met Mr. Prabal Singh near Ukhimath Bus Stand, Sumo Stand. Informed me to wait and after sometime he arranged a Sharing Sumo for me. At 10 pm I reached Ransi village. His wife and other family members were waiting as I asked him for a stay and dinner. I had dinner and they had their own homestay. I kept my bags and the next morning went for Madhmaheshwar trekking. I stayed there for two nights. Very nice family members, they also provided me with a Cab to return back from Ransi to Rudraprayag. The homestay is near Ransi Bus stand, you can also get a bus which is in the morning at 6 am, later you can get Sumo sharing. Very comfortable rooms with geysers, light, charging and also they have backup batteries. The price was also very minimal with...
