Mountain Green Valley Home Stay — Hotel in Uttarakhand

a wonderful 4-day stay at Green Mountain Valley Homestay in Lansdowne. The place is truly a hidden gem, offering a peaceful escape with stunning views. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully covered with iron fencing, ensuring safety while still allowing you to enjoy nature.

One of the best things about this homestay is that it’s pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us as we traveled with our dog. However, I’d recommend not leaving your pet unattended, especially at night—we had a surprising visitor at our door, possibly a leopard, likely drawn by our dog’s scent. Thankfully, the fencing provided security, but it’s always good to be cautious in such remote locations.

The owner and staff are incredibly polite and hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, homemade, and reasonably priced, making every meal a delight. The property itself is serene, perfect for unwinding, and also serves as a great viewpoint to enjoy the beauty of Lansdowne.

I recently stayed at a homestay in Lansdowne and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the stunning view, The homestay’s location was stunning with breathtaking mountain views. ( Image attached ) The room was spotless and very comfortable. I appreciated the attention to detail when it came to cleanliness.

One of the highlights of my stay was the food ( veg , non-veg both). Each meal was a delightful experience, and the taste was exceptional, also in morning they gave us homemade green chatni ( By Shanu ji) with our breakfast

If you are planning to visit to lansdowne, this is THE place to stay. great host, great food, great service within a reasonable price. The view from the homestay is just great. It's almost the same view as TIP and TOP view. You would feel, like staying at your own house and having home made food. I would like to personally thank them for such a great service.
