Worst hotel in my life. Wish I could share the video of the room and more photos here.
We had only spent 15 mins. I went with my wife outside of the hotel to find another. Absolutely fake photos. The quality of the room was not even close to what I paid. When we reached the hotel, the owner stated telling me “aapne to mera nuksan kara diya” just because there was a direct reservation dealling going on with a person at check in. Paying over 5k for a hotel and the owner says this at the first visit. Next I asked him to show the room, checked the room and came back again to the reception then clearly saying to the owner that the photos do not match. There where 2 people at the reception the main owner started saying “ki sir online to aisa hi hota hai koi category ka kuch bhi dikhata hai” and the other person standing at the reception started to tell me that open the site from where you have booked and check the photos with a full attitude style. I opened but still the photos do not match. The photos did not say the water would be dripping down in the washroom. No where it is mentioned that there are there is huge bear like pets in the premises. No where it is mentioned that the glass will be broken, dirt will be present inside the hotel, table fan in the room even the guest room door can not be locked from outside. I came with my wife and this door thing is a major security issue. Even the hotel, exterior photos do not match. The room was smelling like anything, insects flying around in the room. Absolutely zero view from the window, rather there was a construction of building going on just infront on the hotel. If you ever visit the hotel the you will find the restaurant is on the road. Cloths hanging inside the property and what not. Not at all worth the price I paid for.
After changing cloths, both me and my wife went outside to search for a different hotel. We even did not touch the bottle to drink water because the hotel was so hectic.
Even at the time of check out, I asked the owner to send someone to bring down the luggage, but no one came. I myself brought down the luggages my self keeping in mind that a very big dog was starring at me all the time and I was not at all confident. Me myself put the luggage in the car and left. The owner did not even try to stop us or even tried to show an effort to stay with them.
Later on got to know from the other locals that this place was a something else and converted into a hotel. But note listing says as hotel not homestay. This is a shame that a 5k hotel has service and quality like this.
Just ignore this place. 1 star for this hotel is too much. Wish I could rate -5 stars. If you want stay to get ruined even after paying 5k then its your choice but I just threw away 5k in dustbin by booking this place. Wish I could help the people who actually need money to survive.
Just ignore and skip this place. Waiting for the hectic hotel staff to get a reply on this. Do not trust on the good reviews, those are absolutely rubbish. Check the...

We stayed at Munaal's Nest, Chakrata for 3 days, and found it to be the best hotel option in the area when compared to nearby properties. The location is excellent — right on the main road, so there’s no need to take any off-road routes to reach the property. Ample parking space is available for 5-6 cars comfortably, which makes it very convenient for families traveling by car.
Chakrata’s main attraction, Tiger Waterfall, is around 12 kilometers away, roughly a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from the property.
The owner’s family also stays on-site, and they are extremely warm and helpful. The entire staff is very supportive and polite, making the stay even more comfortable. The views from the property are simply stunning — beautiful hills all around, and a peaceful garden area with a swing and seating where you can relax and soak in nature. They also provide some recreational activities like badminton and carrom, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed.
Just outside the hotel flows a small tributary, and around 1 kilometer away there’s a small waterfall that adds to the serene atmosphere. The surrounding village on the hillside, with very few shops and minimal crowd, gives you a truly natural and peaceful experience.
We had booked a family room which was quite spacious and easily accommodated four people.
The food served at the property was delicious and homely. One suggestion: it’s advisable to place your food orders at least an hour in advance, as fresh preparation takes some time. However, the quality and taste are worth the wait. The only minor drawback was the tea, which could be improved. While the hotel overall is well-maintained, there are a few small areas that could use a bit more upkeep.
An additional highlight for animal lovers — the property also has pet dogs and cats that added charm to the stay.
Overall, it was a wonderful, peaceful, and family-friendly stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Chakrata’s natural beauty in comfort...
