I stayed there at Nature Valley Homestay, run by the two brothers Mahendra and Sanjay Negi , from 1st July'24 to 8 August '24 .Awesome experience.Rooms are immaculately furnished with mud and wood. Both the brothers are very caring and down to earth nature, always on their towes to fulfill your wishes at their best. Foods are delicious and mind-blowing. Those who like to experience the flavour of local kumaoni dishes like, Bhat ki Dal, hari Sabgi, various types of pahadi Dal, lingerie ka sabji and kala chane ki sabji ,must stay at Nature Valley Homestay. Vridh Jageshwar is a window to the mesmerizing panaromic views of Himalayas. All time favourite Trishul, Nandaghunti,Mrigthuni, Nandadevi, panchchulli directly visible from the room No 102 &103. If weather allows Himalayan peaks on the Nepal region also visible from the Homestay. Vridh Jageshwar temple is just one and half kilometre from this place. AWESOME! Well I have been visiting Jageshwar and Vridh Jageshwar ever since I was a kid and there used to be only TRC at Jageshwar and hardly any road to visit Vridh Jageshwar so pretty much aware of the area. Nature valley homestay is a recently constructed property with the best view of Trishul, Nanda devi and Panchachuli range of The Great Himalayas! Since this patch is almost on top of the mountain so you get a 360 degree view from the property while one facing the snow clad mountains and the other towards Jageshwar valley. Must say that the hospitality you get at the property by Mr Sanjay and his brother are par excellence! Hygiene is maintained with earthy look to the property and owner is anytime ready to help you with anything you need. Also must appreciate the food, this is by far THE BEST you can get in the area (yes I am considering the options available in and around Jageshwar). Overall it is THE BEST stay I ever had in last many years being around the area, visited as a family of 7. Excellent place with serene views of Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchashuli(Kailash Complex). Been there couple of times, once stayed more than a month on the eve of Mahashivaratri. Both brothers Sanju (very active and dynamic) and Mahender were very warm in taking care of any extra stuff. It would be roughly 2 km on road to Vridh Jageshwar from this place. You will be dissolved into the nature on taking any trails to both Vridh Jageshwar and Jageshwar temples. Pahadi food prepared by Mahendar was so good that I forgot about my regular south Indian stuff. Most important thing at this place is the view of Himalayas you get. Right through your window you see Nanda Devi and Nada Kot. Nanda devi is where Maharshi Maitreya is in tapas along with his disciples.
