OYO Jp Palace & Home Stay — Hotel in Uttarakhand

We have had THE horrible experience in this stay. I would highly recommend not to book this for anything until and unless the owner of this place renovate this for better.

We have booked this place for 3 days for an event and after going to the location we had to inspect the place as the whole place was unclean (spider webs everywhere). No mirrors in few rooms and no light to get dress up. The flush stopped working in the same day after first use. And then we have to wait for the plumber and change our own plans to accomodate them to fix things. And if we don't do then these people shouted on us and said that then you shouldnt have complaint.

I dont think this place even pass the criteria for a home stay. This doesnt feel like home rather a "dharamshala" with very bad service and non accomodating people.

If there was negative review, I would have given that to this homestay. They don't cater to our bookings made online, and demand Rs 2000 extra for stay. We reached the place at night, and the caretaker was drinking, and didn't allow us to stay, even when we had fully paid online for the stay. Very very bad mannered and unethical . After requesting for hours also, they didn't allow, and at the middle of night we then went for another hotel. Compensation or refund also not provided. Negative...

As bad as anything can get. Please don't ruin your time coming to this place and hoping for a reasonably fair stay in...
