First of all i booked private plunge pool room

On being asked to change the water, illogical reasons were given by housekeeping staff to avoid doing some half n hours hard work. ( like the next rooms water source of pool is connected so will have to drain out their water too to refill, this when checked with senior management later was found to be untrue and concluded as staff laid back attitude)

Overall - 5/10( we are doing recce before we plan our team's annual excursion, you will find the review a bit critical but guaranteed 100% honest)

Property & location - 9/10 ( this is the only good thing about them as fresh property)

Vegetarian Food - 3/10 ( very basic, blant and like hospital food, they told they have the best food but please don't trust their words, vegetarian food is pathetic just like my father was served last year in Fortis Hospital, maybe worse)

Non - vegetarian Food - 8.5/10( only saviour)

Front office staff - 5/10( not at all welcoming and not happy to see guest's coming in.. Give a feeling of being over burdened with work and fed up of checking guests in)

Housekeeping - 3/10 ( discussion all the time that the property is short on staff and too much workload, right in front of guests ans complaining about not happy serving the guests to the manager, response time for evey request was greater than an hour for example switching off pool pump coz it makes a lot of sound, providing fresh towels, providing drinking water in room... Etc)

F&B staff - 8/10( Vishal was the best at serving and f&b staff was only decent, anything extra you want they are not at all equipped like I asked for ice they refused , I asked for serving buffet food in room as most of the seats in restaurant were taken but they said we won't becoz of policy.. Now am I expected to stand and eat my food...

After so many research I selected this resort for my one night stay at Jim Corbett National Park and after my stay I realised that I was not wrong. This resort is located at such a place where you’ll get the actual vibe of staying inside a forest area. From the main road you will get a bumpy kachha road about 1 km to reach the resort which will boost up your experience of entering a forest resort. I booked canter safari and the pick up point was about 3.8 km from my resort. Plenty of car parking space, lawn, swimming pool, garden, bonfire place everything is there within the campus which makes it a 5 star category hotel. There are already so many photos available online, still I am uploading few photos to give you an overview. The rooms along with washrooms are clean enough. Beds should be cleaner but it’s manageable. Foods and services are also upto the mark. I think I can’t describe this resort especially the place and the vibe by words only. If you’ve a forest lover and wanna stay at a place close to the forest then you should book this resort for one or two nights and feel the vibe. Different category of rooms available. I recently stayed at Pumpkin Hotel Corbett and Tusk & Woods, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the high price, the hotel lacked basic upkeep and attention to detail.

To start, the bathroom facilities were in terrible condition. The pot flush was not working, the shower handles were either loose or broken, and there was leakage in the Jacuzzi, which meant the water wasn't draining properly. On top of that, there was no handwash provided in many of the rooms, a necessity that should never be overlooked.

When it came to the food, the experience was just as poor. The meals tasted as though they were prepared for quantity rather than quality. During lunch, items were missing and not restocked promptly, and some dishes were either overcooked or undercooked. The overall taste was bland and disappointing.

The hotel also lacked basic entertainment options, as the rooms were equipped with outdated TVs that didn’t have proper set-top boxes, limiting viewing choices.

To make matters worse, the staff seemed unprofessional and untrained, with very little attention to hygiene or guest satisfaction. For the price we paid, the service and cleanliness were shockingly substandard.
