We spent 1st and 2nd Jan 2021 at this place. Cons: • This place is too far from main Rishikesh. At the time of writing this, this place was so far that at one point the proper road ended and a rocky mountain path started and we were in the middle of nowhere. The climb was a little steep and due to the rocky path the car was having difficulty moving with all of us in it, so we had to get down. Also due to the rocky path there was a risk of a flat tire but fortunately, it did not happen. Also due to the new year rush it took us around 3.5hrs to just reach this place from Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh. So avoid this place during crowded season. • Since this place was a little remote so instead of spending time travelling back and forth for rafting, we decided to stay at the camp and drop the plan of rafting. Minus one star, for above points.
Pros: • The above cons are also a plus for this place. Since this place is so far from the area where the rest of the camps are, this place is untouched and less crowded. Since there are no camps nearby so members of your own camp will only be there. • This place is surrounded by mountains and a river stream flows next to it, so it is all natural beauty and peace at its best. • The rates are also affordable as compared to other camps. • All the tents have attached toilets so no need to take cottages. • Some sports facilities like cricket, badminton, volleyball are also available. • They told us that in summers they block the water to create a natural pool, which could definitely be an add on for people visiting in summers. • Emulsion rods are available if you need warm water. • Electricity was 24hrs, I did not notice any powercut. So no issues in charging your gadgets. • Food was of decent quality, though it can be improved. I have had better food in my last camping at Rishikesh in 2014. • Camp, linens etc. were clean. • Every night they turn on Music on large speakers and there are light decorations all over the place which makes this place more beautiful at night. • A separate bonfire was lit up for each individual group which is good to have. • Mobile network was weak near our tents but it was good near the stream which is next to the camp. • The staff was polite...
Read moreAn amazingly beautiful place hidden in nailgaon. Rooms are well furnished. Food delectable! Pet friendly!! A must stay for weekends when you really want to have that quality time and peace. You will get little signal. Jio works best. Nearby river flow is so soothing. You just have to return here as it’s that beautiful! Just one thing to be cautious about is the road to this place is very rocky. So have to be really good at driving. I just feel the price of the rooms are not justified..way too expensive. If you visit other beautiful places I.e chakrata, you will get huge cottages at lesser price than this. The price part is a bit...
