शहर की भाग-दौड़ से दूर फ़ुर्सत के कुछ लम्हें अपने साथ बिताने हों, तो सोमेश्वर वैली विलेज होमस्टे से बेहतर कोई जगह नहीं। सोमेश्वर घाटी की ख़ूबसूरती देखने लायक़ है, यह घाटी उस शोख़ लड़की की तरह है जिस पर हर लिबास जँचता है, बसन्त में जो बासंती ओढ़नी ओढ़ लेती है और बरसात के मौसम में धानी चुनरिया ओढ़ कर एक अलग कैफ़ियत पैदा करती है, तथा सर्द मौसम में एक कत्थई पोशाक ताने दूर पहाड़ी पर बैठी ढलते सूरज को निहारती है। सूरज से याद आया अगर आपको सूर्योदय और सूर्यास्त का बेहतरीन मंज़र देखना है तो यह जगह आपके लिए ही बनी है, दूर पहाड़ी की चोटियों से उगता सूरज अपनी सुर्ख़ किरणों से आपके अंदर एक ऊर्जा भर देता है। अपनी ज़िंदगी के तीन दिन यहाँ बिताने का मौक़ा मिला। होमस्टे पारंपरिक कुमाउँनी घर जैसा है। यहाँ रहकर आप पहाड़ी जीवन को जी सकते हैं, महसूस कर सकते हैं। होमस्टे के संचालक राजेन्द्र नेगी भाई बहुत अच्छी मेहमान-नवाज़ी करते हैं अपने हाथ से अलग-अलग कुमाउँनी व्यंजन जैसे भट्ट की चुड़कानी, डुबके, चैंसा आदि भी बना कर खिलाते हैं। आस-पास बहुत सी ख़ूबसूरत जगह घूमने के लिये हैं, विश्वप्रसिद्ध पर्यटक स्थल कौसानी यहाँ से महज़ 15-17 किलोमीटर दूर है। सोमेश्वर महादेव मंदिर जो 12वीं सदी का मंदिर है होमस्टे से 3 किलोमीटर दूर सोमेश्वर बाज़ार में स्थित है। प्रसिद्ध बैजनाथ मंदिर समूह, दुनागिरी मंदिर, द्वाराहाट, रानीखेत आदि भी कुछ घण्टों की दूरी पर स्थित हैं। अगर आप सोमेश्वर या उसके आस-आस रुकना चाहते हैं तो यह होमस्टे एक अच्छा विकल्प है।

came to Someshwar Homestay because I was distressed by the heat and noise of Delhi. It is such a calm and beautiful place, and the food here is even better. I came here on a solo trip, and as a female traveller, I am very happy that you can roam here comfortably; you are not afraid of anything. And yes, if you plan to come here, then bring a little more time because, after coming here, you do not feel like leaving here.

Someshwar valley is a beautiful place .Scenic views are just awesome and mesmerizing... This place is not a very explored place.. hence the beauty of the place is still intact...

Someshwar valley village homestay... Is a place which makes you feel at home. It is run by two young and very hardworking boys ... Rajendra and Virat... Both of them take care of the guests by taking you to explore the place and providing you with delicious pahadi food .... The taste and the purity of the food is remarkable... Also they made us taste authentic pahadi food.. The homestay is at walking distance from the main road and you have to walk your way to the homestay.. The vehicle has to be parked on the road.. But the hospitality makes it worthwhile... All in all if you are an enthusiast for looking into village life and living it for some time.. this is the place for you... You can enjoy the village life and Desi food here I recommend this place to all those who have a liking for...

As a individual we always have some different thoughts abt our life. So like all responsible moms, I also did all my mom's duties n then I was looking for some amazing home stay. Again for me amazing means...it should be surrounded by full of green fields with पगडंडी , 360* mountains, n no concrete stay only mud house n village food. Guys trust me due to all blessings of mountain's God(Naina devi,chitai Golu) I got this home stay which is now my home forever.If ur looking for ur new home with nature pls choose Raju's negi homestay Someshwar (UK)for...
