Tapovan Resort — Hotel in Uttarakhand

The stay at Tapovan Resort was disastrous, went there on the basis of google reviews. There are no facilities to cater. Towels were dirty. No electricity, and power cut during intervals. There was a room heater, but the staff told us not to it switch on. Which is as good as not having one. No functioning Geyser. No sunlight. The bedsheet were torn and dirty. The bed & pillow was not comfortable. They had a TV in the room to which the cable wasn't connected. Therefore, it's pointless. There was a kettle but it was not efficient. The water got cold within 5 mins. Unkept property.

Was highly disappointed by the services, expected something really worthwhile according to its reviews. I request Mr. Charit Dimri, the owner of the resort to follow certain basic requirements and also renovate their property. Being a Local Guide, I do not recommend to stay here.

Tapovan Resorts is primely located near the Ganges. Properly is well maintained with nice landscaping. Rooms are clean but doesn't have proper heating facilities Heater provided is very small for a room and not all sufficient in winter cold where it reaches around 4 degrees Hot water doesn't come always in the washroom and that's another disadvantage in winter

It has integrated restaurant with a very good food . We tried breakfast lunch and dinner. Dal is a must try with hot tawa rotis. Staff is very good and humble, which makes your stay comfortable.

It's little over priced for the facilities, really would help if hot water and good heater is provided in rooms...

We stopped here for a night on our way to Govind Ghat... This place was expensive but since August is low season we could negotiate a deal for 3500 for two rooms. The rooms faced the main road & were very clean.||||The water was hot & toilets clean. Since we were the only occupants, the dinner menu was limited but whatever the chef prepared was simply superb...Clean & Bold flavours. The paranthas for breakast were exceptionally good too.||||The only drawback is that there is nothing around it except the mighty river that flows on the opposite side of the road & that too almost 20 feet below the road level. ||||Place i would definitely stay if ever go to...
