I would like to elaborate my 2 nights stay in this property which was very dramatic, scary for my family's ladies and fightfull with owner Mr Amit. I booked for 2 night stay in this property, we were 15 persons including adults and children. At first night, 2 of us were slept in common room on sofa which was not comfortable at all. At early morning one unknown person knocked my mother-in-law room door and when she opened the door, he left and ran on the wooden ladder going in upward direction. The food was not at all good. It was taste less. At evening approx 8pm, we intimated to the staff about our checkout next morning due to all these factors, unfortunately the door knock incident happened in the early hours.
Next morning when we were about to checkout by clearing all the dues of 1 day only, we were like hostage as the owner in call said that you can't leave by paying only for 1 day, our statement was that if I used your property only for 1 day and all that happened to me then why would I stay for 2nd day or why would I pay for 2nd day if I am not using your property for 2nd day. Owner Amit threatened us on call and said that you can't leave this property, it is not your area. As there was no other option, I was forced to call police that moment. They tried to compromise between us and said either you stay here or leave but if leave then we may have to face legal consequences from owner side. Police then negotiated with owner also and asked him to provide good facility for 2nd day then we stayed there on 2nd day. SI Ravi played a good role between us on call.
I request to my audience, plz Don't go only by the Google picture and rating. Better inspect carefully before booking this property. There rooms and bathrooms was in very bad condition. Attaching few pics also.
Though It was a family holiday trip but this trip was nothing but a nightmare for us. It was my first horrified experience...
Read moreTerrible Stay !! I have booked this homestay for my family for 2 days. Total 4 rooms booked with breakfast. Rooms are big BUT that is the only good thing in this homestay. We faced plethora of issues during our stay here as mentioned below: Problems faced: Water problem in all rooms. You have to go downstairs to tell this to staff so that they can turn on motor to refill tank. No phone to call staff. Rooms start from 2nd floor with weird design of staircase. One can easily fall and get hurt badly. No parking space available. No play area for kids. Staff is untrained to handle guests. Food served is below average and not timely. Manager gives false promises. e.g. they’ll ask you for quantity of food you’ll have in breakfast but in morning they’ll serve just half and stay its done. No option for early morning tea. Very high spiders, snails roaming in premises. The food order you give, staff prepares something else. e.g. ordered plain Maggi for kids, got vegetable maggi., ordered non spicy parantha for kids, got parantha with full of green chilli. Seepage issue in rooms. Washrooms are designed by some fool. Once u take a bath entire washroom is wet. I think owner doesn’t have any idea of what is going on in his building. I regret to book this homestay for my family as it was nightmare for everyone of us for two days. Booked based on google reviews but seems they all are fake. Attaching some photographs for your reference. Pls pls avoid going to this homestay. Not even worth 2000 rs per night Better to book nearby hotels that give...
Read moreWe were a group of eight ( two families) stayed on fourth floor family suits. The rooms are good. The view is amazing. Kids loved the place and did not want to go back. Cleanliness is up to the mark. The fourth floor had a swing in terrace which made us really happy as we could enjoy sunset beyond the mountains , with a cool evening breeze and the swing. Food is exceptionally good. Both non veg and vegetarian food was cooked with subtle taste and good portion size for hungry house guests after treks during the day.. The staff is energetic and very polite and helpful. So five stars for everything. Aust visit stay. Owner Amit too is a very humble , sophisticated person and it was a joy to meet him. Only request is , there should be a rule book for the guests where each batch of guests should realise that they are not to create problems for other house guests. We had this problem only for oneday but it was quickly resolved By Mr Amit. It's off course upto the guests to maintain peace and dignity for a happy experience of co existence. I would certainly be visiting Celebre in future for...
