at the time i visited, right after the kedarnath tragedy, the hotel had been empty for ten days. they told me that the bhowali area hotels get filled only when nainital gets full, but this is quite sad, the valley at bhowali and lakes like bhimtal are actually more quietly kumaon than the overt touristosity of nainital. ||||i loved the balconies of the rooms with their great view of the bhimtal valley. the lobby is unexpectedly opulent and you can relax on the couches here in a raj ambience. ||||food, from the restaurant was very good. they have a car park on the roof itself. ||||some of the rooms they showed me were not quite well-maintained, but this may have been because they had been lying empty. water was a bit of a problem too, they have three hours supply in the morning...
Read moreI would suggest not to visit this hotel. We booked 3 rooms in this hotel through ibibo and when we checked in, we were shocked to see that there were spiders around our bed. Walls were messy and electric switches were broken. Bathrooms were even worse with broken taps and spiders roaming all over the floor. Moreover, when we complaint to hotel manager regarding this, he told us that you can find some other hotel and this is all you can get at this rate in this hotel.
