I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. And those were among the most memorable days of my life. I got upgraded to a room attached with a private pool and that was like extra icing on the cake.
Room was pretty big with all the required amenities. Though, I spend most of the time outside the room 😉 . Inside the resort itself there are so many things to rewind yourself. Sharing my experience of all the three days. :
Day 1: Highlight of the day was the Kumaoni folk dance at the lawn of the White Oak Corbett resort. Local folk artists in their colourful dress brighten up the evening.
Followed by unlimited buffet dinner. Nothing could be better than that to end up the day.
Day 2: I also heard that resort has got the biggest swimming pool in the area, and so I reserved the evening to dive into it. Indeed, it is big , clean and well maintained. We had a lot of fun at pool side. I also saw, The White Oak Corbett team arranged bone fire in the evening for couples to spend a memorable romantic evening. Probably, I would plan one evening with my love in next trip.
Day 3: The White Oak Corbett resort team will not leave any stone unturned to surprise you, On the last day of our trip, there was a guitarist who sang along with us and we all were nostalgic of our college days. I couldn't ask for more.
If you want to explore the area with local cultural experience apart from just safari then I strongly recommend you to stay at The White Oak Corbett resort Large, clean and sophisticated area to have quality time with your loved one.
STRONGLY RECOMMEND. 5 star in all the fields from my side.
Would love to...
Read moreMy recent stay at White Oak Resort was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and attentive service from the staff. Mr. Robin and Mr. Nikhil were very helpful and polite. The premium room I stayed in was immaculately clean and exuded a sense of luxury that made my stay all the more enjoyable.
The resort's location was ideal, offering serene surroundings and convenient access to nearby attractions. The ambiance of the resort was inviting and tranquil, providing the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my experience overall, I must admit that the food fell short of expectations. The menu offered very limited options, and the quality of the dishes was not up to the mark. This was a bit disappointing, especially considering the high standards set by the rest of the resort.
Despite this minor setback, I would still highly recommend White Oak Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with excellent hospitality and accommodations. With a few improvements to their dining options, it has the potential to be truly...
Read moreOverall a below average hotel. Not due to its infrastructure or location but due to its service and faulty ac’s/devices. AC’s here works either on 16 degree or do not work at all. Most of the people staying here had same issues. The staff is new and very inexperienced. They only knew how to reset the ac and nothing else.
Secondly the kitchen staff was always confused and provided very late service. For a simple thing like curd or milk it would take minimum 20 minutes and 6 times of request.
During rain all water came in the room and we had to clean it ourselves since staff did not come even after 40-50 minutes.
Moreover when we asked for room cleaning the staff that came was so untrained that they left all utensils behind.
We stayed in Room No 406 and for 1 whole day there was no water in washroom.
Food was good and they provided food at odd timings. But the service was so slow that it wasn’t worth it.
Majority of the guest were facing the same issues.
Overall the stay here was not at all comfortable. The price is too high as per the facilities...
