Extremely Disappointing Experience at Maurya Farm

Our stay at Maurya Farm was nothing like what was shown in the photos. The villa looks completely different in reality—everything is rusted and poorly maintained. The swimming pool was not only extremely small but also very dirty. When we requested the caretaker to clean it, he outright refused.

The bathrooms were in a terrible condition, with yellow stains and signs of bacterial buildup. None of the appliances like the oven were working, and when we asked about it, we were told they haven’t been functioning for years. There were frequent power cuts, and to make matters worse, the inverter didn’t work at all despite repeatedly asking the caretaker to fix it—he simply ignored the requests.

In the evening, the entire ground floor hall was full of insects, making it uncomfortable to stay inside. The area around the villa was also very dirty and unkempt.

The worst part of the experience was when we were leaving—I realized I had forgotten my cricket bat. When I returned to collect it, the caretaker denied having seen it and started arguing aggressively. The owner was also extremely rude and unhelpful. When I went to check the caretaker’s room, I found the bat hidden there. These people are extremely dishonest. The caretaker, his wife, and his brother-in-law all live on the property, and I noticed that there were many stolen items stored there as well.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

Our recent stay at this villa was nothing short of a nightmare. Here are just a few of the major issues we faced:

Unclean washrooms: The bathrooms were dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival. AC not working: Several air conditioners were broken, making it extremely uncomfortable, especially in the heat. Filthy kitchen: The kitchen was a mess — no cleaning done, and it felt unhygienic to even step in. Rude staff: Both the caretaker and the manager were incredibly unprofessional and rude. Zero sense of hospitality. No basic amenities: There were long power cuts and even a shortage of water — completely unacceptable. Worst service ever: No assistance, no response to complaints, and no accountability from the management. This place ruined our vacation. We strongly advise others to stay away — definitely not worth the money...

Worst experience, pool is not clean, washrooms are dirty, dirty smell in water, rooms are not clean, insects all around the house ,even it came in food while having, air conditioning not working properly,light issue, care taker has its own attitude,rude behaviour,he doesn’t even open the door at night says police will come as if we don’t know anything, waste of money, in starting they will commit we have oven & all then they will say its not working, totally worthless,dont go there cancel your plans if you are thinking to go there, and most of the reviews of there person only so don’t fall for it.
