Did manual booking through phone contact and Bank transfer through common mobile app. Follow up was good and rates were better than net based booking sites. Hotel followed up over phone for lunch on arrival. Rooms are good compared to the rates. Bed size is good enough for a family of three. It can even accomodate four persons with two children. Toilets are clean. Both Indian and Western types available in some rooms. Rest are mostly of Western types. AC and hot water facilities are proper. We had backup power during power cuts. The ambience is nice. Hills are visible on the backside. The down to earth owners take good care of their gardens and of the guests too. They have their own poultry farm. They are expanding eco facilities. The staffs are very cooperative and very well behaved. They are common village people from the locality, hence, down to earth people who cares a lot about the guests. Food is very good and quantity is good enough for two persons, who eat in moderation. Both veg and different non veg rice thalis (set meals) are available. These are of pure Bengali home made style and tasty. Considering the quantity and quality, prices are very reasonable. Extra side dish of "Postor Bora" tastes great. I liked their Chili chicken and Chowmin too. The chicken pokoras have thin coating and more meat. Local / desi Chicken and mutton are very tasty. Bed sheets were clean. Extra pillows were provided whenever asked for. COVID related standard Sanitisation was done for the rooms. Due to COVID situation, we did not use hotel towels and toiletries, hence, can't comment about those. The hotel is about 1.5km from the dam. Toto / electric 3 wheelers are available over phone at very reasonable rates. Hence, visiting the dam is not an issue from this location. Me, my family and friends liked the ambience and would like to visit again.

It is one of the better resorts/hotels in Mukutmanipur. It is walking distance from the actual dam, and there are a lot of places to travel which are close to this location. The staff behaviour is very friendly and they will take care of you. The AC rooms are clean, the bed is well made, but the quality of the washroom cleanliness should be better. The food is normal, nothing fancy, but nothing bad either. The availability of the food items on the menu is also subjected to the availability of the raw food items. Deducting one star because of the food menu availability, and the condition of the washrooms. Apart from that, it's a good place to stay, with really affordable rates!

Aranyak resort is about 15 min from kangasavati dam.location wise very nice and peaceful resort is surrounded by beautiful nature Backside of resort is beautiful .The nearest railway station is bankura Railway station which is about 45 km from station. They have facilities of dropping.they have ample parking facilities. They have small park with swing.Food was good but costly.Staff behaviour was very friendly and cordial. They have guided us for sightseeing and also provided proper transport but things I didn't like is the room.Room and bathroom are not properly cleaned and had a bad smell.

The worst experience ever I received in any resort. I had been getting extremally poor behavior from them starting from the beginning. When I entered into the resort I had few complains to discuss with. Hence I told one of the stuff to let me know whom should I communicate. He himself approached me to listen all the complains. And then after he became arrogant enough and said "We have many guests like you. Hence we don't care about you. If you want you can leave the resort". He literally insulted me.

I could not leave the resort as I had paid some amount in advance. However I went to other resort for dinner and wished to stay there as they were very welcoming and gentle. Then after returning back to the resort I had a talk with owner who is another worthless and indecent person who does not at all have a bare minimum decency to listen others. Additionally when he heard everything he said the same. That means they do not care about guests. They have every right to insult guests. And finally he said "You have booking for 3 days. Hence if you want to leave now you have to pay the full amount". Hence I had to stay as I don't have ample of money to waste.

All the stuffs of the resort along with the owner do not know how to behave with guests. They do not have basis knowledge to welcome a guest. Instead of that they have an excellent skill to insult the guests. They think it is a best approach to do the business. As a result I took foods from outside for the entire 3 days of tenure. And the experience was the best. I was overwhelmed by their welcoming approach (Mukutmanipur Guest House and Family Restaurant). Having lunch at Bardi ECO Resort was the best experience..

I only ordered 1 snacks during the 3 days. What I received was nonsense with a very bad quality and that too was delivered late (order placed a long back). Thankfully I took food from outside for the other days.

Finally, There was no one coming up to pick up the luggage or drop the luggage to the car. It is not a big deal. But it gives good feeling to the guests.

As a whole I wont recommend this to anyone. My entire trip would have been excellent if I would have stayed in any...

To be honest, it didn't give me a good service at all. As we reached there, I saw the circumstances were proper and as the day started there its performance detoriated. First of all , I don't know why there was only one staff who was serving us. There was only one Chef who was cooking that was okay. First about food it was good enough. At night as we went to sleep , around 1 a.m. the current went off and I was surprised to see that none of them were interested to turn on the generators as there were burning sensation within us. My uncle called the staff (Moloy) several times but no response from them. Then they told us as the weather was little windy they didn't turned on the generators. Then at 5:30a.m. we called him ( Moloy ) physically then after a quarter they turned on the generator. It was a horrible night.

The television was not working as because it was not recharged and they refused to recharge. Just after our sleep at 6am after just 4 hrs one of our grandmother woke up. They told very rudely that to just move out , very harshly as we were living there without payment. ( I think it was better to stay in a non AC room. I request it is not a very good place as I Thought )

And the staff MOLOY was...
