Bayaroo Stay Lamahatta — Hotel in West Bengal

Stayed there for 2 Days with family. Pro's: Rooms/bathrooms are neat and clean (cuz this is a new homestay) and a lot spacious than usual homestays. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. (As we have a toddler with us, they tried everything possible to make the babies foods according to our wish) All key offbeat places are really close by (Lamahatta eco park, Takdah/Tinchullay, Gumbadara view point etc) YOU CAN SEE MT KANCHENJUNGA JUST FROM THE ROOM/COMMON AREA (what else do you need more??) (only if the sky's clear) Although it is a homestay still the host is trying his best to provide hotel like service to the guests. Bonfire available. Host even arrange local chicken for us as we requested that too in such a short time.

Cons: Improvement needed in cooking. Less oily food preferred (although totally personal opinion). Offbeat place so you must have your own arrangements of transport to cover all nearby key points. (Although darjeeling-kalimpong share car is available just outside the stay.)

Advice to host and coming tourists: Try to keep the place as new/clean...

I had a truly wonderful stay at this homestay! The hospitality was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated — it felt just like home.

What really stood out was the food — absolutely delicious! Every meal was freshly prepared with local ingredients, full of authentic flavor, and served with so much love. It felt like eating a homemade meal every day.

The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with great food and even better company. Definitely coming back again!
