Hotel Kaushik — Hotel in West Bengal

If you unlucky to not get the IIT Guest house for your stay in Kharagpur you should probably rethink the visit given there are not too many stay options in the city.

Hotel Kaushik is a plausible choice for your stay in Kharagpur. Its situated around 15km from the campus on the Mumbai highway. Rooms are decent with comfortable bed, fridge in the room and hot water in bathroom. A standard 3 star situation with the facilities.

However, one should note that the hotel also has a restaurant cum club cum dance bar on the ground floor and it gets loud at night in there. While its quite safe for families people might want to avoid late night restaurant visits if with family.

Overall a distant alternative to IIT guest house if you have to must visit and stay in town. Definitely way better than Hotel Park situated next door...

Hotel is ok, Rooms and toilets needs thorough cleaning and some repair. The staff is extremely good and helpful.it seems the owner doesn't want spend money in maintenance. The hotel has a bar which plays very loud which is clearly audible inside room, so if looking for a quite place then not...

The hotel is noisy because if the loud music played in the bar which runs late till night. The food is not great, just OK sort ! A little expensive also. The TV in my room was not connected to the cable and hence couldn't get to watch anything!
