JAMBLING SHERPA HOMESTAY — Hotel in West Bengal

I spent four days of the Christmas 🎄 2022 here in this beautiful homestay with the wonderful Sherpa family. Came here without prior bookings, but Mr Sherpa welcomed us warmly and kept on surprising us everyday with excellent local food and beverages. When all the rooms were occupied we put up at their home. Such gestures are rare. The neighborhood is equally friendly in case you wish to interact. We really had fun in the evenings with all them. Mr. Sherpa sings really well. With local delicacies and music we spent excellent evenings. I shall visit them soon. I wish them good luck.

The Homestay is very clean. Hygiene is regularly taken care of. It is spacious, well decorated and 24/7 electricity available. Guests can have warm water for every purpose. Mrs Sherpa runs a store one might find useful.

Jambling Sherpa Homestay is on the left side of the road if one comes from Mirik to Sukhiya. The elevation of Simana is 7200 mtr and this Homestay is on top of the view point. Therefore panoramic view of the Himalayas is a certainty from here. Those who love the mystic fog can also visit this place during August or early September. This place would be strategic for the busy traveller because one can reach Jod Pokhri, Mim tea estate, Lepcha Jagat, Dhotrey and many other places very easily. Even you can reach Darjeeling or Mirik within an hour. The economic part is that you can even avail local cab service that ply between Mirik to Sukhiya. On request Mr Sherpa can arrange that too. If one has plans for Sandakphu either by car or treaking one can do that easily from here since this place is very close to Manebhanjan. Cab for Sandakphu and Phalut are booked from here. Mr Sherpa arranges such plans. He suggests that April is suitable for a perfect Sandakphu tour because of clear weather and catching sight of Rhododendron. This place is not expensive. People with online assignments stay here for long periods, as one would get broadband internet nternet connection for free.

Awesome location awesome food.. (special mention for chicken dishes are too good) hospitality of this home stay is very good 👍 but I am upset with the driver Amit he didn't show us Nepal fully though we paid fully this is very bad about this whole trip. He should show us everything in Nepal. We are paid full amount here. He shouldn't do this to us 😔 nd one thing I wanna tell this I have planned my trip with this homestay nd they didn't know anything that is too funny.. before checking out they told me that they knew everything nd the driver will arrive on time not to worry. We paid full amount here na the driver didn't show us many places of Nepal this is cheating... We are tourists we are innocent about the vennu thatwe are going to visit. It's homestay's responsibility to guide us properly bt we are misfortune about this matter I guess 😔 bt still I miss aunty 's hand made chicken love you aunty...

Okay. This place is heaven on earth. It's at zero point. Simana is the place. You can literally see Nepal on the other side and there are some places where you can walk on the side of Nepal. That's cooool. The hospitality was amazing. The main deal with traveling is food....and i don't have any issues with the food they provide because it's just like Homely food. Their behaviour was just like a family. They made us feel like we were a part of them. The owner of this place they arrange a karaoke every night...where you can sing with them...and have a chilled night. What else do you need on the trip after a hectic day? Nothing else.
