We stayed at manokamana farmstay Tabakoshi. We book 2 double bedrooms from 3rd November to 5th November 2024. But our experience is very disappointing. Owner was not present at that time, they handed over the responsibility to two male staffs. But they're very lazy and reluctant to serve the guests. After ordering a cup of tea it took 45 minutes to serve to us. They're total reluctant in their body language and attitude. We paid Rs1700/head /day Without bargaining a single Penny. Rooms are shabby and damp they did not provide any bed at1st floor .which is totally unhygienic. Frogs enterning into washroom without any barrier. Most disappointing fact is that they did not provide the geyser in washrooms . Which is available in other homestays at this tariff. We cried out for hot water before bathing. As the boys are lazy if we asked for full bucket of hot water they will provide us with half bucket after 45 minutes with full of dirt and if we request for more they are embarrassed. Food is OK OK type. Taste is good but quantity and presentation is not up to the satisfaction. Scenic beauty of farmstay is excellent and it is close to the river side. Cab driver provided for two days was very good and helpful. But we are totally disappointed with the service and hospitality provided by manokamana ...

Tucked between rolling tea gardens and silent mountains, with the Rangbhang river flowing gently right across. This homestay is the kind of peaceful you don’t realize you needed until you’re in it. At night, you can hear the river and the soft crackle of fireflies. The air feels slower here - soothing.
The people at the homestay welcomed us like we were coming home. We shared meals, stories, and laughter. They have a little nursery, and when I was leaving, the owner gave me a flower from their garden as a gift. That small gesture will stay with me for a long time.
There are three friendly dogs, and a cat named Kadi who stole my heart. She’s affectionate, friendly, and followed me around like an old friend. The place is pet-friendly as well.
One afternoon, they took us on a "joyride" - a jeep ride through tea estates and winding mountain roads, roof down, breeze in my hair, like something out of a movie.
If you’re looking for a place that feels like home in the lap of nature, come here. It’s more than a stay, it’s a feeling you’ll carry back with you. 10/10 recommended. Would definitely love to come...
