Am still here for one night with my parents who r aged 77 n 70 ...n a chauffeur who is about 60 ...myself 42 ...this was chosen as a logical night halt location between Dooars n Kolkata ...this showed up on d highway ...some reviews were good ...hence ...||||Let me try n sum up my experience in the following points: ||||1. Location: very conveniently located on d NH outside Malda. Perfect for a night sleepover.||||2. Booking: Called the owner yesterday from our last half - Gajoldoba - to ask the price. He mentioned 2000 for Deluxe n 3000 for suite. Booking.com gave me 1467 for the suite - am sure another 15% plus goes to them. Don't really know what the owner tried to accomplish by quoting this price - either it will scare people away or make more updated ones check the online price !!! Either way he lost money.||||3. Checking in: reception was empty - the gentleman came after a while after being summoned. Initially very curt opened up to a nice human being later - an overworked caretaker for a dysfunctional property.||||4. Amenities: what a mess !!! Rooms were once designed well but if u look at them now u feel so sorry. Barely a couple of lights on in d room, rest taken out, nothing in the room shows even tiny bits of maintenance. From cupboard doors with broken hinges to cracked bathtub with broken hand showers to balcony door linings falling off - list is endless. I first thought of clicking but later decided against it cause then I will have to upload 70 odd pics. This place is as dirty as u can imagine. This is easily d worst maintained property I have visited in d last 5-10 years. Cost cutting shows - no electric kettle, tea bags etc, one soap only as a reminder of toiletries that r customary, not one channel in the TV, no cover for any of the room lights (no lights also for all points except two), one glass, not one tissue or toilet roll, paint falling off most of the places, only 4 staff including one for reception who stays hidden rest of the time, 3 from kitchen who also do part time hotel job n one cleaning lady etc. It's understandable if the owner is in distress - but to try to sell these rooms for 3000 is criminal !!! Right price is 800 for the kind of squalor one is expected to live with.||||5. Food: lunch was good - Chinese cuisine was decent and other food was also acceptable - overall met expectations we had for the place. Prices r ok and not exorbitant.||||||6. Staff: mixed bag there - mostly found them helpful once we have broken d ice. We were refused room service but later on they agreed. Not much else could be sorted.||||7. Others: they have an FL off counter n hence tipplers will feel right at home - without any ice cubes or cold mixers !!! I have spent best part of the evening having my JD without ice or cold water - something I have done after ages. ||||Overall, I would recommend this property to none (n i repeat - NO ONE) excepting those who want to have food on d way. This is equally unfit for every category of traveler i know - just a squalid mess with no sense of service. Avoid this...

Horrible experience!! Starting from rude behaviour of the staff( Mr Piyush Mondal) , untidy sorroundings, and intolerable mosquito menace.. bathroom tops it all..half open ceiling window, broken bathtub with terrifying look..when I asked for a room change, his response was like "all rooms are like this..aapko oyo se bahut kam paise se mila h" , basically intending "lo , yeh tumhara aukat h , Oyo se book krne se" Then I asked him I wanted to speak to his manager, he said he himself is the manager, refusing to give any contacts. Cherry on the top, first time in my life I'm booking a hotel without food service, sorry, food will be too much to ask here, they don't even send over coffees.. Whoever is the manager of this dilapidated so called "resort" , please stop fooling the common man..I know you guys are nothing but cutthroats with insatiable hunger for money, but please do give value to our comfort too..and none of these facilities I have pointed are luxuries..just basic necessities a hotel should be having..And big thanks to Agoda...surely won't ever be using your app...
