Came here with my friends, childhood friends. I had booked only the room and no package meal as it was a day outing that also from 10 to 7...

I had informed 2 hrs in advance(as the person on call told us to follow) about the chicken barbeque which we wanted in lunch hours plus 1 week in adv we informed that we would need noodles for lunch, not bengali thalis which we eat everyday! The person on call was completely fine with this, but... Once we reached, the reception had a completely different story... Barbeque not possible before evening and noodles only available for dinner or evening...

After some calls of confirmation and changes. We had to settle for some starters only, and we left much before our check out time.

Rooms - Pretty decent. Washrooms good too, some minor issue with the door which was fixed. No night lamps in the room, so if u need it, check accordingly.

Pool - Good, a bit dirty but that happens because it's an open pool, so dust will get collected. But, on a sunny day tan is evident! So, in summer u can use pool after 4.30 or 5...

Food - Chicken Pakora - 8pc for Rs 150, we got 2 plates - Too much bone pieces and only a few boneless. Quantity of chicken wise, average. Taste was really good. Piyaji - Good, crispy, a bit more Besan than needed Fish Finger - 4Pc for 150, a decent buy, it's not vetki though. French Fries - Rs 70, turned soggy by the time it reached our room.

Service - I spoke about the quality of service I received and hence gave an overall 3 star review. But yes, staff behaviour was not bad except reception.

Note - The crowd there are a mix of good families but also Chhapris from Slums with...

Mixed Experiences at Shilla Villa Resort – A Candid Review

My friends and I recently booked a one-day, one-night package at Shilla Villa Resort, hoping for a scenic getaway. Unfortunately, the resort did not live up to the picturesque images portrayed on their website. Nestled in a village, the location lacks the aesthetic appeal one might expect from a resort setting.

Upon arrival, we noticed that the resort was cramped with limited common areas, which was particularly noticeable during the rainy season, making the entire place look cluttered and poorly maintained. The lack of cleanliness was evident in most parts of the resort, adding to our disappointment.

The dining experience was a mixed bag. While lunch was enjoyable, the dinner left much to be desired with a simplistic menu of roti, alu bhaji, and chicken that was served cold. Despite our requests, the staff was unable to reheat the meal. Breakfast was mediocre at best, and although the quantity of snacks was adequate, the quality failed to impress.

The amenities were underwhelming as well. The swimming pool was small and seemed more suitable for children, with broken tiles that could pose a safety hazard. The carrom board was nearly unusable due to lack of maintenance. On a positive note, the room service was prompt and efficient, which was a small consolation.

In conclusion, Shilla Villa Resort might suit those looking for a secluded spot for indoor relaxation, perhaps for groups preferring to stay in and enjoy a few drinks. However, for those seeking a resort with spacious surroundings, aesthetic beauty, and a variety of activities, this place might not meet your...

its a spaceous resort in between fields and ponds, village environment...dont follow google map blindly..try to ask locality people to reach the destination...theres a narrow road through the paddy fields ..try to avoid that one..too narrow to cross in four-wheels...try to take the main road..the locality people will guide you....rooms are ok-type..clean and tidy...a.c. works good...th breakfast and lunch was all good....but the dinner roti was too small...if you eat two roti...order 4 rotis in advance.....or else its better you have rice as well in dinner....also they dont store any soft or hard drinks...you have to order in advance if you need it...order just after reaching there, they will get it by night.....also dont order to have cofee there...they serve with too much milk...we ordered cofee with eve snacks...we got hot hot milk instead....swimming pool is too small(one family of 7 people is enough for occupying it completely..will make ot overcrowded)..but was clean and good...also had a shaded seating area side of yhe pool..that was beautiful......th best thing we had was "kochi-pathar jhol"...mutton ...that too unlimited...and the chicken served at night was also tender soft and unlimited.the resort is good for family,friends...

This resort is located in Deuli. The place is nice but the location is not so good. The resort is still under construction and I hope that will add some beauty to the resort. The swimming pool is the best part of the resort. In the evening hot water is also supplied in the pool. Pool timings are 10 a.m to 8 p.m. Rain dance is also available and they also have a gathering area for parties and any kind of celebrations or function. Both AC and non AC rooms are available at respective tariffs and the breakfast is complementary. For food packages per person costs around 1200/- and the AC room costs around 1900/- per night. For children swings and slides are present. In the evening the resort provides a short village tour on e-rickshaws. But the roads are too poor due to the monsoon season so expect a lot of terrible road conditions.
