Read moreWe visited this place for our Office Day-Out / Picnic. This farmhouse resort is a very earthy place and takes you close to the nature. Lots of greenery, spread over a huge area along with water bodies, emu bird, swans, and lots of lots of flowers. We had booked Aranyak cottage for our day-out which again has a very rural touch. Ample space for parking. Food served for breakfast was really good. Lunch was served in banana leaf which impressed us as that's what traditional bengali value is about.
Just one improvement point I'd mention - taste of the snacks served after breakfast (Chicken Pakora, Fish Finger) can be improved as Pakoras had bones and Fish Fingers were bit stiff and smelt weird. The chef can use a bit lighter coating for the fish finger which would make it softer.
We had a really nice day-out here. Recommended for anyone looking out for a cozy place with rural vibes. Price might seem a bit high but considering the maintenance of this huge place that can...
Read moreThe resort is located on a large, green campus, with a lot of natural beauty. However, it was difficult for us to find out the exact location of the resort since its gate did not have its name mentioned. The rooms have a charming rural look, but they need better maintenance. The food was good and flavourful.
We stayed in a room called "Modhu Manjari," which had several issues. The bedsheets were not clean, and there was no cupboard or place to hang clothes. At night, we heard loud noises from the roof, which we later found out were caused by lemurs/civet cats (ভাম) , and large rats running there. These noises were very disturbing and made it hard to sleep. Unfortunately, the staff and managers did not warn us about this problem beforehand.
Overall, the resort's beautiful surroundings are enjoyable, but the room conditions and unexpected disturbances were...
