What a horrible decision it was to pre book and take my parents for a little detox trip! Inspite of booking 5 days prior to the actual trip, paying advance of âš2000/- and receiving confirmation for 3 guests and 1 driver (add whatever the bill in final bill requested and approved) the harassment was beyond expectations.
The pool was nice and tidy. Rooms were beautiful. Room service was quick but the stuffs made it worse.
Bathroom was leaking, so right away thanks to a good service person we were moved to a new room.
The door of the veranda was faulty, slider was broken.
We had to call them thrice for the extra bed which we already had confirmation earlier.
Reception and kitchen have no communication at all. You call reception they blame kitchen, kitchen blames receptionist.
The height of the embarassment reached its peak when next morning during complimentary breakfast , they took the pain to inform my senior citizen parents that how they'll be charged extra for the driver. Fun part, he is already included and we have informed. When I questioned the receptionist, a little bickering broke out between the reception and the kitchen. You ask why? There miscommunication, guests do please suffer.
Order a meal at 7.00pm by physically being present at restaurent and request the dinner at 9.00pm. They'll deliever it around 45 mins later, 9.45pm. If you call to ask then the reply is unique " Hello reception please enquire why my meal isn't here, I have called the restaurant but no one pick up"
" Sorry Madam. We'll check it right away".
" Hello kitchen, is my order still not ready?" " Did you call earlier?" " Well yes. I did to the reception as no one picked up from kitchen"
" If you want food , you have to call us, we don't know anything about reception " The time is 9.30pm my goodness! Just wow isn't it?
The red tshirts room service fellows and the security guard are the only sane person in this establishment.
Such a beautiful location, yet the unprofessional behaviour of the stuffs made the stay totally cursed!
I feel sorry for the owner only as it's clear he left no stone unturned. He spent well and property is beautiful but just sheer negligence is ruining...

However, none of these were properly maintained. The bathrooms were stinky, which made using them quite unpleasant. The pool area also seemed neglected.||||Power cuts were frequent throughout the stay. While I understand that power outages are common in Mandarmani, other hotels in the area have reliable generators to deal with the issue â this property clearly didn't prioritize that. It was particularly frustrating to find there was no air conditioning in the dining area or reception. Eating in that heat was far from comfortable.||||The buffet breakfast was another letdown. It barely qualified as a buffet, offering only puri and sabji. For a place that seems to market itself as a full-service hotel, thatâs just not enough.||||What really pushed the experience further downhill was the behavior of the staff at the reception. Unprofessional and disorganized â it felt like no one really knew what they were doing or cared.||||Itâs a shame because the hotel actually has a lot of potential. Cons: The roads leading up to the resort are non-existent. You literally have to travel through mud, sewage, and whatnot. Also no shops in close proximity. Extremely sloppy service and ill-managed staff. I had to call room service 4 times for a bottle of water, 3 times for cleaning our room. Even then, the cleaning staff left after cleaning half our room and then we had to call once again to get another cleaner. Staff behavior was mostly good; however, one of the restaurant staff was a little rude who lashed out at us since we couldn't hear him ring our door bell. The bathroom was a bit smelly (they sprayed room freshener after telling them about it), and the walls and floors would always get damp if the AC wasn't turned on. The AC wasn't powerful enough, it took a lot of time to cool the room as it's quite big. Many items from the food menu were unavailable. We asked them to prepare some bhetki fish dishes for us from day 1, but we didn't get any until the last day. The hookah was a waste (not recommended). They charged us Rs. 300 for a broken glass, which I believe is too high. You can get a full set of 4 glasses in that price.
