To my surprise an acknowledged site like "Bookings.com" had shown photographs of Rohini Homestay which did not match with ground reality . In addition the place was not worthy of the fare we paid. I was totally disappointed. That Homestays down around Bangalore were much better, that the following requires attention if it needs to be included in Bookings .com site,,,,,||a) The phot graphs promoting the site needs a thorough redressal||b) The beds meant for sleeping couple were meant for individuals who are 5 feet tall and slim, not meant for six foot tall senior citizens||c) One of the three rooms we were allotted had its WC without floor fastener hence it wobbled.||d) Another of the three rooms had its bathroom drainage chocked and water egress was very very slow||e) There was no running hot water in any bathroom and we had to do with hot water in a bucket provided by the current "owner" Anurag Thapa||f) In the bathroom the mirror provided was of six inches and no fixation in front but on a peg to the left.||g). Over all all our needs were meant by smiling owner who understood the drawbacks and deficiencies.||2. The service was beyond expectationsâevery little need was taken care of with a smile, and the location is simply unbelievable, peaceful yet well connected.

Or, if you like loanly and peaceful place to spend a couple of night,you can stay there. Only one homestay is running now, and you can have good food opposite to the homestay where the people will welcome you with warmth. Just ideal for one or two night outing. This is only 25 kilometres from Siliguri and 11 kilometres from Kurseong. May travel by personal vehicle or by sharing jeeps...
