Came here for 2 nights-stay with husb. The road to get here is steep and narrow, which can cause a traffic, and slippery when it’s rain. We’re given Bungalow 2, it’s a nice room with medieval room decor, we got clean bedsheet and fresh towels. The minus is the vitrage is already turn yellowish like it’s never been washed. The room is spacey with a bath tub inside the bathroom, but we had to wait a lil bit long to get hot water when we were going to take a bath. The ambience is good, the air is fresh, breathtaking scenery at the backside of our bungalow. But the pool, definitely need a cleaning cause it’s dirty.
Breakfast at day 1 could’ve been better, the fried rice is too sweet, like it’s lack of seasoning. Beside that, for breakfast we got cereals, bread with fruit jam, 2 bottles of mineral water and 2 glass of hot tea. But breakfast at 2nd day is better, we got fried noodle in change of fried rice at 1st day, and the flavor is better.
My husband and I had lunch at the cafe, we sat at 2nd floor and the view is great. The food and beverage are a bit pricey. We ordered french fries, pepperoni pizza, and mushroom cream soup. The pizza is average, I have had pizzas that’s way better with the same price. But the mushroom cream soup, my husband and I agreed that the soup is sooo delish. For beverages we ordered red velvet latte and cafe latte. The red velvet latte is good. It doesn’t take long to prepare our order til they put it to our table.
P.S.: before we went there we already check the reviews at gmaps and we saw a lot of reviews that make us a lil bit worry. Turns out it was not as we thought before. If you come here at weekdays, the place is nice enough and comfortable. But on weekend, this place is indeed too crowded. We arrived here at Sunday afternoon and it was like a sea of people here, even some cafe guest is trying to take a picture from our bungalow (yes, they’re trespassing!). Overall, it was a worthy experience for us. Another tips, if you want to stay here, try to book Bungalow 3 if it’s available. It has better view...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location is beautiful with a peaceful atmosphere and great views, something about the experience felt a bit "so-so." The ambiance is calm and relaxing, making it a good place to unwind, but it could benefit from more activities or events to make the stay feel a little more exciting. Adding some local tours or evening entertainment would enhance the vibe and create more opportunities to engage with the surroundings.
As for the restaurant, it has a solid breakfast menu, but the hours could use a little flexibility. It opens later than I would’ve liked, which limits the ability to enjoy breakfast earlier in the day. It would be great if there was an option to order another menu alongside the breakfast offerings.
Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, but with a few improvements in activities and dining flexibility, it could become a more...
Read moreWe though to stay at a nice hillside outside Bogor, but this place is very difficult to reach by car, especially during the weekend. Too narrow road. The room looks great, but after a while the bathroom started smelling moldy. The place itself is packed during the weekend with loud, unavoidable, music till late in the evening. Breakfast: don’t go for it at this hotel 🤬🤪!! First day: small amount of nasi and noodles, some grey sausages and an omelette. Second day: left overs from first day. Third day: Nothing, we just asked for 2 slices of bread, but even the butter seemed to have finished 🤨. I don’t even want to think what they could’ve made for dinner….. During the week this hotel is nearly completed empty, not a lively place to stay. And the hills? Well, they were all the time in smog…. Not a great view, unfortunately. Would I come...
