Beautiful Omah Joglo Kempalan, amazing scenery, fresh air and relaxing ambience 😊. Not everyday you waking up to this amazing view, watching the fogs slowly moving around the hills while enjoying a cup of freshly made coffee with your family 😉. You can order food from warung teh Omah next door, or burn a few calories by taking a short stroll to a nice cafe around the corner 😁. Definitely a great getaway from a busy city life without spending too much time to reach from Jakarta. Highly recommended 👍

6 Aug 2023 update. We're back! Been here 3 times already, and every time we had a great experience. It's even better now, they've installed a swimming pool 😄. Nothings beats a hot steaming bowl of indomie rebus with rawit after an afternoon swim 🤣. Thinking of having arisan emak2 here next time 🤭, should be much more fun than standard gathering at a cafe 😁. See you next time Joglo Omah Kempalan!

16 Dec 2023 Closing the year with my beautiful extended family! 🥰 When proposing the place, they were enthusiastic just by watching the video from my previous visit. And I'm glad that we've made the right choice 😊. There were around 40 guests and they all complemented on the good food, nice place, and last but not least, the spectacular view! Had a wonderful long weekend at Joglo Omah Kempalan.

only 1hr away from hectic jakarta you will arrive at this greenery surrounding area. The villa has 1 main joglo with 2BR and bathrooms with large open space living room area, and kitchen and yes, all eyes can see the mountain view from inside. Can fits big family of 10, with folding beds provided by the owners.

The villa keeper pak pian is a good handy man, he helps with everything we need.

Bfast is superb, local dishes with very good taste. you can ask for snacks/ meals during your stay with little cost only.

Few notes from us: lighting in main bathroom : we think if can be more brighter so during night time more safe specially for elderly. we think dehumidifier also a good idea for the bed rooms. since wood absorb moisture specially when it rains, bed rooms feels so humid.

We stayed for 2 nights with our family at this beautiful joglo. I would highly recommend this place for a trip with (extended) family, company team off-sites, or a stay with friends. There are many things to do in the surroundings such as visiting the waterfall and hiking or trail running in the mountains. One can also choose to stay at the joglo and enjoy the luxury and facilities that are provided. The pool, a variety of daybeds and lounge chairs, a karaoke set, table tennis and games for a rainy day are all things that our family enjoyed. The beautiful view and garden create a very relaxing atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks (amazing young coconut!) can be ordered with the friendly staff, who are also standby to help with anything and can provide local outings. We hope to visit this special place again...
