The Jing — Hotel in Bali

For a month and a half now, I have been connected by a story with the Jing Hotel.

Having lived here, I can say that everything is wonderful here, from the amazing staff to the small details like a silk robe, straw hat and beach bag.

Any request at this hotel can be fulfilled. Any request, any desire of a guest is law here. The hotel is run by lovely people Vera and Will and their dog Flow, whom they kindly adopted after finding her in trouble on the street. They have such love and passion for what they do that I wish everyone could find something that you can do with the same love.

They can organize an excursion to any part of the island, help you sew dresses in a local atelier, feed you delicious food and warm you with warm words. I consider the second floor to be the best place in the hotel, because it offers an incredible view of the sea. If you meditate at sea for a long time, you can see dolphins and whales swimming by. There are a million goldfish swimming in the hotel, you can feed them and make a wish that will definitely come true, because miracles happen here.

The villa is equipped with good lighting. In the rooms you can find handmade natural linen lamps, and in the lobby this establishment’s signature feature: a chandelier made of natural quartz stones, which will give you an incredible boost of energy for the rest of your life (photo attached). Also, the entire villa is enriched with natural stones, which have enormous strength.

Swimming in this luxurious pool will definitely make you feel like a king or queen in a modern castle. I can write for a long time about the advantages of this place, but it’s better to see once than to hear 100 times.

Even the most beautiful words and pictures cannot adequately describe the beauty of this special place. ‘The Jing’ has provided the kind of vacation I never knew I needed and now feel like I can’t live without. Luxury home stay in its most beautiful form. Away from Bali’s super touristy places, this pearl is located in the quiet and still pristine north of Bali. A place where locals still wave when you drive past on a scooter as a tourist. At ‘The Jing’ you really find peace and comfort. Vera and Will are the most wonderful hosts, supported by a fantastic local team. I have never experienced so much hospitality anywhere and felt so welcome and comfortable the whole stay. After the first few nights my only wish was to extend the stay. There are only three guest rooms in the main house and Vera and Will live in their own bungalow next to it. They share their beautiful home with the world and give you access to this stylish and well-designed house and all amentities. Unlike other corners of Bali, they have not only created an architecturally appealing houses but also constantly ensure that it remains in this condition through consistent care and maintenance. In addition, a very special culinary experience awaits you at ‘The Jing‘ as Vera is not only a host but also enjoys creating delicious menues. I can’t find a negative point as our stay was perfect. Vera and Will have created something very special and fill it with incredible warmth. I cannot wait to come back to this...

A lifetime would not be long enough in this Northern Bali oasis…. Flawless is I think the best word to describe every aspect of our stay at The Jing. Your hosts Will & Vera (and dog Flo) make you feel welcome and embraced from the moment you enter their sublime waterfront home. Their decorating prowess and innate attention to detail means that everywhere you look is straight out of a design magazine, but here, all your senses are taken into account, with perfectly curated background music, beautifully luxurious bed linen, organic bathroom amenities, fine dining and the most comfortable dining chairs I’ve ever encountered. My husband and I were spoiled each and every day we spent at The Jing. Nothing was too much trouble for our gracious hosts and smiling staff. We took great advantage of the on-site yoga classes and spa treatments which were both exceptional. We want to make special mention of the caring and nurturing Yuni who expertly guided us through daily classes and treatments. She absolutely helped make this stay so memorable. Each & every member of staff made an incredible effort to make us feel relaxed and pampered, especially Eka, Putu, Maha & chefs. The carefully thought out menu was plentiful and incredibly fresh, and we thoroughly looked forward to each and every meal.
