Puri Ansell — Hotel in Bangka

Hotel is located at a very secluded area, not easily accessible and no good restaurant nor supermarket within walking distance.

It has a private beach at rear. Beach was quite clean.

Room was large, however it was dirty, dusty and not cleaned properly. Artworks on walls were lined with plastic which covered with dust.

Toilet was disgusting, i have never seen a hotel with such poor cleaning. It was so dirty, toilet seat was not even cleaned properly, wall tiles grouts were mouldy. Hot water for shower was not working. We had to have shower with cold water.

Swimming pool water was very dirty, not swimmable.

Breakfast was not good at all. Food was dry and not many varieties. When the food was finished, the hotel did not top-up the food.

Internet wifi was constantly cut off every 2 minutes, cannot be used at all.

Hotel is constantly noisy with loud music. During the day it has loud music from the reception. The worse one is at night time, they played super loud (extremely loud which we could hear inside the room) disco music as if we were in the nightclub until 10pm every night. We could not have a peaceful relaxing stay.

We were pleased to stay here and our expectations were met. Easy access to beach, clean and basic room, and friendly staff. The beach is clean and has calm waves, so perfect for kids. The best part is the DeLocomotief next door. You can access restaurants, museums, watersports and turtle conservation in walking distance to the hotel. It gives things to do while staying at the hotel. We had nice seafood dinner there, off the beach. We went to see the turtle at the conservation, had delicious coffee at breakfast at the cafe and walked around to see abundance (for a small town) of museums and attractions. The place has great spots for pictures too. Overall, very good and clean stay. Will come back next...

only 5-10 min from sungailiat and only 40 min from pangkalpinang airport. quiet place with private beach too. nice architecture and romantic lighting around the villas. just walk 5 min and you can found tongaci beach, and any restaurant , bar and cafe there..|without breakfast, but you can order something from restaurant, but i dont. you should bring your own food or snack for stay there. romantic place for couples, if you just want private time with your spouse. |no public transportation, need rent vehicles or go there by taxi. more comfortable if you rent the car...
